I've built a new combat/multi-purpose HV. Haven't came up with a name yet. Sadly it's kinda useless for POI assault with the current state of turret AI. I spent quite a while today trying to get it to fire at a hostile alien turret (mostly tested against Ion cannons), but had no success at all. The only structure I could get the turrets to fire at was alien core'd generators (if it's above ground). Probably won't be putting it on the workshop until/if devs re-enable HV turrets shooting at hostile alien turrets. Really disappointed they've basically taken away the ability to assault hostile POI's with HV's. Spoiler: more pics
I think it would work nicely as a mobile base as well. Your interior is very well done. You managed to make it look convincing despite the lack of deco for HV/SV.
What better way to celebrate Independence Day than booting the last Zirax off of Pehjora? Four of us got together to hit the last two strongholds- basically little clusters of 4-5 POIs each As I said... it wasn't my day to die... Afterwards, I turned gunrunner... sold 1.1 million credits worth of equipment, small arms and armor to the local merchants. The Zirax are going to have a harder time with the residents if they try to come back

The local trading station has all of the vendors- and since I plugged T2 assault rifles into the trader config and upped the max inventories, I can sell pretty much any loot- which is all that was.. so whatever the price per, it was 100% profit There were 11 suits of medium armor and an entire crate of boosts involved too- I think those alone counted for a half mil
Working on updating the station again today. I converted a spare warehouse into a garage with a new sv cargo sled to park there. Spoiler Updated the dance club interior. Mostly the back half of the club. I removed the dance floor and seating area above it and installed a stage with more seating out front. Added a few npcs too. Spoiler Updated the theater interior too. Installed some LCD signs with showtimes and a few npcs and reworked the auditorium a bit. Spoiler
I'm pleased to see this because it fits my ideal of a PLANET/POI STORMER style of HV... I'll definitely need it down the road for some very stubborn POI clusters I'm encountering. How about PLANET STORMER? BASE STORMER
I needed an affordable but powerful HV to protect me on the Erestrum/Zascosium planet I found. It turned much much uglier than I expected but its quit functional. Unfortuantely, you cant get in or out of the cockpit door properly unless the ship is sitting somewhat FLAT (Less than 15 degree tilt).
