Could you check if EAH creates a wipeinfo.txt in the Playfield folder before the server starts. If so, then its a game bug. If there is no file, its a EAH problem (but unlikely). You are using the full version and run it on the Server right?
I don't have any playfields that I want to "wipe all" on until the 14th. I'll check it then and report back!
I'm toying with orgin locking for the first time. It seems that when it boots people off the planet who try to enter it, it puts them all at the same place. I had a cluster of ships all stuck together who tried to enter an origin locked planet.
Can't set max core count to anything above 255. I downloaded the latest EAH from your website about 30 seconds ago.
Can you still check the Version in the Config. Not that steam "overwrote" it again. I just tested it and it works:
I'm referring to the dedi server settings. Config -> Game -> Max Structures. As soon as you type anything < than 255 it just changes it right before, even before hitting apply.
Players can't load my server since the update to 8.2 Ive tried logging in from 3 different accounts on 3 different computers and each time an internal error occurs and we can't load the game.
Hey, sorry to hear that. But you might get more help in the games bug section. This is just for the EAH Tool.
Hi, I was wondering if anyone is having an issue were setting in the eah are not saving Like i set the difficulty to hard close and save the tool come back and it didn't change. Or set the reset of my planets click OK close the tool to save and it didn't save what i set it like restart at 5 am on Sunday. it was working up till a patch or 2 ago.
Can you check if EAH set the setting in the yaml? Some settings are ignored because they are default. But "Hard" is normally not a default setting. Also keep in mind: The game is rewriting the yaml files on shutdown. So if you run your server, change the settings in EAH and then stop the game, the game will overwrite the EAH settings again
yes the eah changes the settings but when i restart the tool it reverts to default I dont restart the server at all while doing this just the tool
hm could you let me know one setting that always resets? EAH does not write the yaml on startup, but maybe I find something this way.
