    Hello

    I'm happy and proud to present you the initial public release of the Vertigo Cluster - A high gravity experience!

    General orientation of the Scenario is PVE and easy Building.

    Features are:
    • 2 temperate starter planets
    • 4 'branded' starter planets (Current brands: AEGIS, ERA, IDI, SEA)
      (of which 2 are desert and 1 water planet)
    • Everything is accessable by SV, shortcut for CV only
    • Over 170 playfields
    • Welcome Center on every starter planet (see 'First Steps' for details!)
      • Level Garden
      • Shooting Range
      • Medic Station
      • Teleporter Center (to the other starter planets / orbits)

    How to 'install' the Scenario on your Server:
    You'll put the extracted folder from the zipfile into:

    Code:
    <EGS Game Dir>\Empyrion - Dedicated Server\Content\Scenarios
    So it'll be like:
    Code:
    <EGS Game Dir>\Empyrion - Dedicated Server\Content\Scenarios\Vertigo Cluster 8.x
    Then, within the dedicated.yaml
    Code:
    GameConfig:
    CustomScenario: Vertigo Cluster 8.x

    Server Owners / Game Admins : Please read!
    Please edit the './Prefabs/Server Welcome Center.epd' in creative and change the rules or the starting room and/or Password to leave the room with the spawnplate before you start the game on the server.





    THIS SHOULD BE FIXED WITH THE 0.4 RELEASE
    Due to the nature of random seeds, which i generaly want to have and support, it may occour that some "Welcome Center's" can not be placed automaticly on starter planets by the engine.

    You have 2 Options:
    A) Wipe the planet with new seed id
    (annoying to do, but it will have regen)

    B) Place a Welcome Center
    (easy to do, but it will NOT have regen)
    Here is how to do:
    1. Copy the scenario's "./prefabs/Welcome Center.epd" to your "<EGS DIR>\Saves\Blueprints\<STEAMID>\Welcome Center" directory that you have created.
    2. Then teleport to each starter planet and check the console (by "ents 'Welcome Center' " wether it could be placed or not.
      To teleport, use: tt 'PLANET NAME'
      1. Dra
      2. Doules
      3. Hemnath
      4. Uln
      5. Vegan Delta
      6. Vertigo Prime
      7. Vertigant
    3. If there is none, place a 'Welcome Center' within the starterbiome where applicable.

    great map set up, when putting this into a server that's not a dedicated server (peer to peer) where do you place the files to select it?

    - Server Save Zones: Fixed warp ways
    - Planets (general '4 random picks'): Added copper
    - TSO: Added Ores in their asteroid fields/debris (Copper, Promethium)
    - Removed some unused files
    - Jatin: Added moon
    - Vertigo Prime & Vertigant: Cooler mountains (limited height range to 100 from 200)
    - Vertigant: Is now hard -> No air
    - Vertigant: Adjusted POI spawns to class 5
    - Vertigant: Welcome Center now at starterbiome
    - Vertigant/SEA: Furnace's & Greenhouse's are now ADM with personal boxes providing some water

    First. Thanks for the fantastic mod. Really enjoying it (and just getting rolling).

    I'm hosting a small (for now) but public server 8-slot running this mod only. No issues thus far, and plays very smoothly. I am most definitely going to keep updated on how you progress with this mod, and as it proves stable, I'd be open to hosting a much larger server on my gear. If there's demand, I can bring more hardware, since I own a rack at the facility and have the bandwidth and horsepower to throw more at it.

    hallo
    super arbeit die karte gefällt uns sehr gut
    hab aber eine frage .. hat es einen bestimmten grund warum es auf manchen startplaneten ein center gibt und auf anderen nicht?
    und ist es nur bei uns so das sathium nicht auffindbar ist?

    Uhm… ein Welcome Center sollte es auf allen (starter Planeten, zur Auswahl beim Spiel start) Planeten haben.

    Kannst du mir ansonsten mal die Namen geben wo es keins hat bitte?
    Ansonsten schieb ich es einfachmal auf die Seed ID :cool::p

    Wo ich es erstellt hatte war ich grad auf nem Server wo sie es verwendeten, daher sollte eigentlich überall eines gesetzt worden sein.

    Dadurch das die (derzeit) ganze Map via SV erkundbar ist, habe ich mich nicht an die Regel: 1 jump = sathium gehalten.
    Das war mir irgendwie zu lahm ;)

    Jetzt mach doch kein Mond gesicht, vielleicht ist dort etwas zu finden :p

    Ne, das mit dem Sathium schau ich nochmal an, bist damit nicht der erste, damit das dann beim nächsten update (ca ende August) auch gefixt wird.
    Wäre super bis dahin die Namen von den Planeten ohne Center zu haben.

    das ging ja flott
    wir sind auf dra gestartet und sind dann durch das portal nach uln gegangen und standen in der wildnis und haben bis jetzt kein center gefunden
    wegen sathium hab ich gefragt da es in systemen angeschrieben ist und wir dort geziehlt gesucht haben und keines gefunden haben
    für den bau grosser schiffe und anderes wäre es teilweise wichtig
    wen wir wissen das es im moment keines gibt organisierrn wir uns diesbezüglich

    bin jetzt jeden plt auf uln abgeflogen und habe kein center gefunden aber auch keine dronenbasis nur die atefakte und alientürme, ruinen, wracks
    auf dem mond war ebenfalls kein erz zu finden

    Vielleicht mal probehalber in der Konsole (ö oder hochkomma, habs mir auf backspace gelegt) 'ents' eingeben.
    Und falls doch was gelistet wird mal mit 'tt <ID>' hin Porten. (<ID> = die aufgelistete zahl )

    Kannst du mir sicherheitshalber noch die seed nummer geben bitte?
    Dann start ich morgen mal n spiel damit.

    Wenn die ülaneten karte sagt es hat, hab ich es gesetzt, und du nicht gefunden.

    Eben dafür gibt mal in der konsole ents ein.

    Also mit deiner Seed ID lande ich direkt beim Welcome Center wenn ich Uln als startplaneten nehme.

    ok
    ich bin nicht direkt beim planeten gespawnt sonder durch das tor auf den planeten gelangt und stand dort im nirgendwo
    irgendwas ist sowiesso komisch kann mich auch nicht als admin beim spiel anmelden

    das sollte sich jetzt nicht negativ auf deine geleistete arbeit ausgelegt werden
    wie schon mal gesagt sind wir mit der karte sehr zu frieden
    und da ich mich ja nicht als admin etc anmelden kann funtioniern die server befehle auch nicht

    du darfst auch gern mal einen besuch machen und dir es selber ansehen wen du lust hast

    Hmm ok, wenn du mit Portal im nirgendwo landest ist es seltsam.

    Ich krieg grad die Befürchtung das ich hier den letzen kleinen hotfix nicht hochgeladen hab, und derzeit kann ich das Scenario nicht hochladen - weil instabil WIP... :(
    --- oder --- Uln Portal ausgang nicht richtig gesetzt... sollte zwar auch ned sein, aber ich schau nochmal.

    Uhm deine Kommentare sind nicht negativ, sonder faktisch gemäss deiner Wahrnehmung.
    Negativ würd ganz anders klingen, aber danke :)

    Klar, ich schau gern mal rein, wie heisst denn dein Server? :)

    1. Added (back again) regen to all starter planet objects
    2. Set regen on all planets for TS (720) and crashed ships (1440)
    3. Fixed: Dra has finaly access to its snow planet Bettno.
    4. Populated starter planets with additional community bases
    5. Populated some non-starter planets with additional community bases
    6. Added Starter planet: Vegan Delta (Ice & Snow)
    7. Cleared Server Safezone from all hostile NPC

    This said, a full wipe (per planet) is a must have if you want the regeneration, i'm very sorry.
    But fear not, if it is a small an active community, it is easy to have 'almost no' loss, in almost no time.

    -> Everytime i say 'update' this means a server shutdown for the time of the copy-paste action. <-
    1. Before the update, tell everyone to move their stuff to the "Server Safezones".
    2. Then update ALL files but NOT "Server Safezone 1" and "Server Safezone 2".
    3. When everybody has left the Server Safezones again, update those.

    'Since' the Server Safezones will be 'clear' after this update, players can just move their CV's that hold their HV's & SV's there.
    And you can 'ignore' these 2 playfields for future updates, but they have to be included for new and complete downloads.

    Also, please read the 'First Steps' section that i have edited into the first post, thank you!
