I have made a full recovery from that last attack @Fractalite Now you shall witness something truly spectacular! FIRE FIRE FIRE!!!! But most of the time I am listening to this number right here:
HELL. YES. I only recently stumbled across this one myself (couple weeks ago) and it's damn near perfect homage to the originals. Temper Edge @ 34:28 is one of my all-time favorite pieces of music. Ever. Recently I've been real fond of this one. Something about it is just stupidly addictive - artist named their track well, I guess?
The Battle tech music reminded me of the opening of one of the xbox less than awesome mech games opener:
What else would someone expect from an "Empire-addicted" Player like me as to listen to all of John Williams Music? Jean Michel Jarre and "Cosmos, a personal Voyage"
Nice riffs guys! Myself I listen to things like, Magic Sword - Volume 1 When building adventure themed blueprints Evanescence - Sweet Sacrifice for combat Pendulum - Watercolour for racing or when assembling something complex
While i listen too all kinds of music, while building in creative, most of the time i hear these: Some synthwave: Or some Epic power Music: I really love JMJ's Oxygen since the 90's!
For new explorers...and old survivors....Premium space music, better matches orbital activities. Spoiler: Three Spoiler: Listen the first one while the sun is rising, facing towards east......and the second during sunset... Spoiler: Those may be heard freely during any activity. I have been designing space POIs to the ambient music of EVE Online. It might help that I've played the game so the music brings back some of the nostalgia from when I used to play. Really helps put me in the mood to design content for my space playfields. It's especially good for making things like abandoned stations and wrecks.
Hahaha easy in my case as i build PVP so i like listening to something reminding me of the action! But when i'm chilling I quite like the Stellaris Music.
I found this channel of Peder B. Helland that composes Soothing Relaxation music. Except of the long play videos there are live streams as well. Goes well with temperate planets, but not only.

I absolutely love Two Steps From Hell. I honestly Thomas Bergersen's music over Nick Phoenix though. But both of them have been huge inspirations for me as a composer.
While mucking about in creative I usually listen to music that is colloquially referred to as 'stoner rock'. They have these long 4+ hour compilations on YT. Good stuff. I just hop into creative and totally absorb myself in the experience of Space Legos™. And of course Cloudkicker.
I do this sometimes too - have also found the Star Trek TNG, north pole, and fireplace variants. Nice choice. Will also add: Hopefully that is not redundant.
