This has been visible since i started playing 2 years ago. Ive since changed computers and monitors and it continues so i know its just not me. It totally ruins immersion for me when flying and i have talked to friends who notice it as well. Please, please, please fix it! See example below.
What version are you on? I am playing on 9.3.1 2212 and it's more of a rectangle grid, no longer the circle, as far as I can tell.
I was on 9.4.0 When I zoom in shadow looks gridey. I wonder what causes this and how hard it is to fix it. Do dev's ever reply here? Thanks
Been playing since 2015, this is the first time I even hear about this.... But then again, I have micro stutter since day one and in 2 different laptops since then and not everyone experiences them either... Did you try different video settings to see if it disappears or changes in any way? It may point you towards the culprit....
