Hey, Having trouble with these POI textures not working correctly with the planets I'm using. Is there a way to fix this so they don't have out of place textures with the planets? I don't mind making custom textures if that's needed. Note that this one I don't think even has a texture set, and is the vanilla POI.
2 ways: In the blueprint: Check "Keep Top Soil" in the blueprint doubleclick menu. In the playfield: In the texture editor, set the "replaceID" of that texture to whatever you want it to show.
In the in-game texture editor. Load up your playfield in-game and then type "te" (without the quotes) into the console to open it up. There you can change and set all the textures used in your playfield. What I do a lot of times is set the "replace id" for each texture slot to be the exact same as the texture itself so POIs don't change the surface texture when they spawn. When you're done, click save, and then copy over the newly modified terrain.ecf from your Empyrion - Galactic Survival/Saves/Games/<Name of save game>/Templates/<Name of Playfield> to the playfield folder for your specific playfield in your scenario. If that doesn't make sense then I can probably make a video of it this weekend since it's a bit hard to explain!
