Thinking About.. let me put it "simple"..... To summarize what I want, I'd like to let the Picture talk. But basicly, I'd like to be able to do that with Heavy Windows. However, the big challenge here would be to create blocks that would smoothen the Transition of the half block size to the nearby Surface (above or below ceiling/Floor, in front or behind a wall) when using angled blocks…. It's usualy already a little challenge (at times), but with these thin window plates, it is doable and 'over seeable'.... But with a half block comming out / or beeing sunken in relation to the rest of the Surface - it's harder to make a smooth transition.
Nope, yesterday, I completely missed your reference. I like those designs, I couldn't do that WITH the old windows like you have already.
Folks, With 10.4 and the new Unity engine visibility has become more "real" but much harder to fly when flying first person behind glass or heavy windows. Consequently, I would suggest that we need to be able to make the glass "clear" instead of just being able to change the amount of tint. i.e. no tint at all. With weather, lighting and many other factors it is very hard to navigate or fly when looking through windows now.
Pretty much any shape that is currently a window should be a heavy window. In addition - new window shapes in general better facilitate domes.
