For those on the experimental branch: Resuming old save games or starting a new game should work fine but there's a few issues that will be fixed when I update the scenario once alpha 10.5 goes live. -atmosphere color of planets won't be set correctly. -drone base shields will still regenerate making them much harder than intended. -freighters might still despawn. It's highly recommended that you start a new game once alpha 10.5 goes live and I update the scenario to make sure you get all the current updates and fixes for both the main game and the scenario. Also on the experimental branch they changed it so planets load on demand instead of all at game load. The scenario should load much faster in both single player and multi player, at the cost of an increased loading time when warping to new planets.
Darn straight ! Actually had 4 regulars and 2 randoms in the server last night. Most of the changes in 10.5 look as though they will compliment game play. Looking forward to the update.
Hey, I am getting some messages from EAH. I believe things are set to 1000 POI if I recall. Should I be looking for anything specific?
You need to set the structure limit per playfield in EAH. From the tab where you see all the playfields, then you can copy structure limit to all playfields. I recommend setting it to 1000 to avoid issues like that.
I haven't used EAH myself so I don't know how to get to the correct tab but it's the place where you can see all the playfields by name.
jumped to the Starter Snow Dwarf-Planet, opened console and read those yellow written lines...I believe THAT should not happen

Yeah, had to fix an error myself...my old Laptop Keyboard start to behave weird...so I had to "unistall" it (using since years external keyboard) My ERROR is now fixed too...I believe
If editing the file manually, where might I find where to add / change this? I looked around the playfields and such but did not see where this might be edited. The main yaml file shows 1000. On a side note, the server is gaining a few people here and there even though its still on my weaker test server and reviews seem to be good. No major bugs at this point that we have seen. Can't wait for the next update. I still want to implement my idea on a starter planet so after my second monitor arrives I will did into making that reality. I have to be able to read while following instructions since my old mind can only process one instruction at a time....
That's great to hear! Glad it's mostly working well so far. EAH has its own playfield structure limit set at 300 per playfield by default so you have to set it in EAH itself. There's no file as far as I know. It's under the playfields section not the general section. Try asking on the EAH thread.
Hey, ah ok. Check this page: https://eah.empyrion-homeworld.net/documentation/features/structure-limit-control especially the "Max Structures" part. Just go to the Playfield in EAH and set the value to 1000. You can also copy that setting with a button on the bottom.

The bug report is marked as fixed in next update, so sooooon. (Hopefully) Going to start a new survival game with my brother so he can check out the snow dwarf starter and we can make sure everything works right on a server
A lot of orbits and even some planets have more than 300 POIs so it's a good idea. I'm really pushing the game here.
