I'm looking to play this game, and would like to know how many people are playing on the official server? Where can we see the official servers? What is the majority location of players? Thank you!
From what I see daily in MP, EU seems to have the most players constantly, followed by the US and then Asia area combined. There are Russians and folk from the middle east playing also and I do believe we have a few Africans playing also, ones on my friends list. So its a vast spectrum of players you should be able to find a server reasonably close to yourself. The official servers are in the US and the EU. The games studio is based in Germany. The simple way to do this though is to set the ping filter when searching for a server. keep it under 300 and if you can connect to a server with under 100 ping, your good to go. A 300 or more ping can / will get you killed near POIs and in PvP. A 300 or more ping risks de-syncs when warping to new playfields,m which in turn can leave you and your ship in different playfields.
