If Eleon plans to add moving blocks pistons and rotors, that makes lots of designs possible that were not before... I'm sure you'll be boiling with ideas in no time.

From where do you extrapolate that they plan to? They never talked about them in any roadmap. I am pretty sure the engine is not even suitable for this kind of stuff.

The current CPU values are a placeholder, I am waiting for 10.6 to drop before I start panicking.

I am certain that they are going to change the cargo extensions from 3000 CPU to something lower in the future.

For the Topic: In light of upcoming additions & changes to the game, i've canceled my HV Build & held off on making any new Projects in favor of trying my best to help with test driving & production of the upcoming additions & changes... especially HV-wise. Someone's gotta look after Mining HVs & Hover Tanks + Hover War Tanks. (SVs never need lookin after, frankly... there's so many Mavericks & Flyboys/Flygirls out there that ya all might as well grow on Trees. SVs are gettin to feel like the Swords of Empyrion... & I don't mean that as a compliment considering I think Swords are prissy stuck up better-than-thou arrogant pompous obnoxious conceited pretty boys of the Weapon World... )

Well I'm going to try the CPU but If i can't build what I would like I'm turning that thing off. At least we have the option in single player and I heard that a few server admins won't be using the CPU limits. So I guess we will see where this thing goes. I'm not giving up my larger ships but from what I hear it's more about keeping players from building a all purpose ship and not limiting size. So build your extremely large Cargo ship or mining ship but don't expect to win any PVP battles or even take out any AI controlled CVs . You will need your heavily armed warship for that with just a little room for storage.

 

i built this kind of hover bike thing if you can call it that but it's fun to ride.
