Oh EVE... I have but three words for you: Goonfleet for Life! I was there for that great event. It was the most spectacular thing that will ever happen - and I made my money too, and never looked back. As for StarBase.. I'd not heard of it before, so I looked it up. Not quite sure what I think yet. Makes me think of a shooter, with some add-on building options - some of which look decent. If that's your style, that's your style. Not sure it's for me though. A bit more keen on checking out the PC release of Genesis Alpha One myself.
i wish i could say the same but every time my cursor hover over the install button my motivation disapper's
Oh it's a lot more than that, their voxel tech is way beyond anything we've seen so far, take a look at their youtube channel.
Go to my Profile Page and read through what I posted there and tell me about motivation. In my case its that EGS since 2 Years and 4450hours "used" for it.
I didn.t say it was, I just watched the intro trailer. Only so much time for video watching in the office.... That's just my initial impression. Wasn't terribly impressed by the Did-They-Steal-Those-From-No-Man's-Sky looking robo-character models, but they weren't the worst looking thing I've seen either. I kind of like the way they "paint" objects into existence, that was kind of cool. The holes in the doors and walls looked a good bit pixelly to me, but I did like the cut-out-the-door bit, that was nice. The programming of screen button functions was intriguing, but looks like it could become tedious, though most of what they showed just looked a bit high-speed run-and-gun shooter to me. Like I said, first impressions. My first impression of Space Engineers was: "Wow! Neat!" My second impression, after an hour of playing was: "I'm glad I only paid $3.99 for this on sale." I haven't played it since.
Jeah i think i will look now the 4th season of The Expanse perhaps i get a building-fever . yes the building system looks very interessting to with those cables and pipes to get the ship working . Yeah SE has lost a lot of their "Coolness" since thei changed the physics , i miss thoose scenes when youre CV falls on a planet and how it get shattered , now it just sinks into the ground and bugging out of the reality
I get most of my "Inspiration" from looking/searching through DeviantArt Website-> https://www.deviantart.com/. There have I found several of those Vessels and Bases that I have built over the last 2 Years.
Yep i used Deviant Art to for all the Star Wars vessels i made for my Scenario , was a hughe work to build all the ships and than to make cool wrecks and wreckage out of them , specially the mid size cv's was a lot of work or sv freighter like the YT-types . unfortunally the scenario dosen't run good since the planet size bug .
The current "Brain-Fart" I have is this Vessel here-> It suits well into my half-Roman/BattleTech/SteamPunk looking Vessels
From Battletech i made only one ship here , a union drop ship or should a say onion my last CV types was more in the type of Stargazer/Yamato and SV a lot of Elite Dangerous ship's
I don't think i loadet it up in Workshop like the most of my Bluprints , but yeah it was realy nice for transporting stuff , but sinze A7 i use a sc10 Venator for Survival it was often modified , before the Venator it was a Bellator but it was to huge for only 1 Player . Yep but its the english part of the forum ^^
Kind of fond of the Arcadia myself: Only problem with ships like these - those fancy little bits that hang below the hull make them tricky to land.
yet with sv-hv docking landing is not longer a must have , just anchor it with a undocked sv in the air or you can add something like this type of container bellow you're ship
Hmmm, guyz, you don't even need multiplayer to make your cube china copies of ships from another games or universes.
And you need no voxel based game to play any PvP , and the last screenshot was made in a multiplayer survival game , so what ?
You don't care about MP really, you don't need to work it right, without bugs and exploits. You don't care about lagshots cause you never met them in game. You don't care about laggy movement and desync in game, cause you never face it. You just don't go PvP so you don't know and don't care about PvP probems in this game. You are playing like 20% of the game. All you do is cube replicas and say: "hey fellas, come see my new cube ship design, tell me please its sooo cool and i'm a great sandbox designer!" And i care about PvP cause i play it. Thats the difference between us. But i'm not sure you get it all. Devs also don't care much about PvP and definitely don't play it. Their orientation is SP PvE sandboxers like you, that's their money.
I get it, you don't like how the game plays, and sure, there is still a lot to be improved, but you know what? You're a jerk. You keep throwing insults around, as if that had a chance of actually solving anything. You're throwing tantrums like a little kid who wants everyone to do what he wants. Guess what, it doesn't work this way, you're only embarassing yourself, which in turn means people will be even less likely to listen what you want to say.
Demonic, who are you even? Put your judgements to your brown backdoor and hold it there. I didn't went personal, and I recommend it to you too. Oh, its a perfect reason to not fix bugs and errors in game for another 5 years!
