I managed to make blueprints of the spawner blocks for the aliens/opponents. The block will spawn them in when a player comes within a certain distance. This is how it works in pre-alpha 5.2. Who knows if/when it will change but for now we can use it. They will not spawn in until the player is fairly close, vertically, so if you're placing them but don't want them to spawn in, place the BP from above. If you're using the file-replace trick to put POIs into your map, you can now populate them with enemies. This will probably take a little effort because you'll have to use a base starter for each of these blocks you want to insert. You can also just put them anywhere (even in space, LOL) since they are "a base." I hope to be able to get the dalek/drone-bot thingies and the armored golems too. I will post those here if I can get a hold of them. Done! It would be really nice if the Devs would make these spawner blocks accessible from the creative menu so we can just add them into our own creative blueprints and server owners can put them into their games. Ok, I got the other two. The zipfile contains spawner blocks for bat, crogohm, dalek, and armored golem. Each of them is a BA blueprint. I also made, for each type, the folder with the 4 files you use to replace a starter block. The zipfile contains all of the above. Happy modding.
It'd be epic to someday be able to make Allied Armored Golems to protect your stuff while you're away, could be a fun addition to future PvP. (Man those dudes can take a sweet amount of damage... Just gotta make sure ya don't stick them somewhere your foes could use any Terrain/Base Feature to hide from them & kill them from a distance with!) I don't understand why Spawners aren't ALREADY in the Creative Menu considering being able to make Creations then submit them to Eleon & pray they're accepted is already a thing. Maybe Eleon wants dibs on the ability to decide where to stick the Spawners in accepted Bases so even the Base Creator doesn't get to know where Spawners will be without raiding their own creation at least once? Also, I wonder if it'd be possible for a cheaty person to make a Golem Spawner powered Promethium Farm...?
They are not yet implemented in a save way to use (and not to misuse). We are planning to prepare something you can get more creative on those buildings - but this may take some time.
