Hexapod, from the Greek ἑξα- (six) and ποδός (feet/legs). This poor fellow seems to be missing a couple limbs. Or is (s)he(other-pronoun) six feet tall? Or am I just being peculiar here?
The two missing ones are inside, like the legs of slowworms. If you found a skeleton somewhere, you could see it.
I lost my kriel standing and couldn't figure out how, came on here and asked and was told not to shoot the hexapods. I had no idea what one looked like so had a look in game, spent quite a while shooting bugs and checking standing... because they have SIX bloody legs!!!! Asked again and some kind soul provided pictures of one of the badly named creatures.
Maybe those two things on its head count? Prehensile vestigial limbs? Perhaps the animators haven't quite finished with them yet... Scoob.
Unfinished things? In this game? What are you talking... No, trust me, they're inside. Back in the old days, they had six legs. Then they invented the upright walk and then it was two legs and four arms. But except for soldering, gift wrapping and sales at IKEA, two hands are enough. So there were two left and they went into business for themselves. Rumors say there were also some scandals - thefts and lewd groping of which the owner of the hand did not know anything... Anyway, luckily evolution came and solved the problem. The annoying surplus arms became smaller and smaller and have since disappeared in the body.
