Hey all, First I'd like to say that I absolutely love this game from what I've played so far. A good friend of mine stopped by my live stream on Friday and gifted me a copy, so I haven't played much yet. I am a legally blind gamer and content creator, which is important as some background for my suggestions. I would love to see a way to both resize the UI and in game text as well as to move UI elements to more comfortable viewing positions. The most notable of these elements is the map/other info in the top right, health and vitals in the bottom left and any block related info in the bottom right. I am happy to see control remapping for both keyboard/mouse as well as game pads. Finally, could there be any possible way to add some sort of voiced notifications? It is frustrating to try to place a block and not know why I can't place it because I can't see the text that explains why. Adjusting hud elements could fix this problem if an AI voice guidance system is not plausible.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'm open to answering any questions either about these suggestions or the nature of my visual condition if it will help to make this awesome game more playable to people with disabilities :) Keep up the awesome work and I hope to see what comes next for this wild galaxy in the future.

I agree 100%! Great as this game is, it is often very difficult for those of us with less than perfect vision. My pet peeve is the woefully inadequate cross-hair that for me is often invisible. The current pilot's HUD is a big improvement, but the text is much too small (for me, anyway).

I have a number of "old eye" problems from cataract surgery, laser treatment for retinopathy and a touch of color blindness. It takes me longer to to read messages because I can't see all the letters all the time. I have to scan back and forth to get it all. I would like to have it where a pop-up message remains until you hit ESC key like so many other functions in the game.

I welcome you to the game and to the OEC (Old Eyes Club). The OEC has a number of members who have spoken up about these issues. One day we may be heard.

I have optic nerve hypoplasia, essentially an underdeveloped nerve pathway between the eye and the brain. I've been this way since birth sadly. This doesn't stop my love for video games though :) Thanks for the warm welcome, been playing all day between browsing the workshop and looking at builds in creative, alongside starting a full survival world.
