Since the CPU levels are not evenly spaced (Tier 1 CPU has a rather small number of points), placing a more or less decent cargo in small ships (SV \ HV) is a difficult task with a big headache. Also, at the moment, the conteiner extender block always uses the maximum number of CPUs, even if it occupies a smaller volume (the cargo volume is reduced). Is it possible to revise the balance in this matter?

--- conteiner extenders must match in cpu and volume accordingly to their size - smaller size means less cargo and less CPU usage.
--- increase Tier 1 CPU cap?
--- reduce CPU consumption for cargo extenders?
--- increase the useful volume of cargo extenders?

I don’t have a complete mathematical model of the game in my head - as far as I understand, the developers have a slender dependence on the volumes occupied by resources and the corresponding amount of cargo for each type of ships. My goal is to reduce the amount of grind and thus increase the amount of fun in the game :), without turning the game into an easy walk.

P.S. a growl is heard from a nearby computer - my wife is trying to stuff as large cargo extenders as possible into HV tier 1

If you increase cargo capacity, then you need more thrust to lift it... etc.
While I am certainly no fan of CPU (I consider it a lame nasty hack substitute for doing mass/power/thrust etc properly), getting access to parts for tier 2 is so easy, this isnt worth worrying about.

TBH, you can already easily make a decent tier 1 8k cargo SV transport as is (with cpu and m/v enabled), so not sure what the issue is. If you are after 32k+, then well expect to progress the game a bit for that.

Not all starting planets have resources even for T2 (the same neodym deposits), so the question of building a T1 HV with a more or less decent cargo at the initial stage of the game actually arose.

Minable resources? No. But shoot a few drones loot a few boxes and the chances of getting the needed components are high.
