It has a leafless tree that, if you hit it too fast, you get stuck. The solution: take it down. Btw, you can fill terrain with Drill T2 to rise up and get you HV back.
I know all that. The problem is that if the player has to take down every tree while trying to play, it is not a good practice. There used to be an era when trees would be destroyed if where touched by vessels. It was disabled and no one know if it is going to be activated again. When developers were asked they did not reply positively either.
I remember this. Another thing I would like to see as an "option" is related to mineral deposits. Select between veins or blocks of ores. In this case, the collection would be faster, and would accumulate a lot of stone.
I use my SV miner on planet and CV miner in space. Although I might go with one of my HV miners instead on planet. Whatever suits my fancy on planet. Options. I like options.
Today I finished transform this... ...to this... Survival game mode - no "DM" and no "CM". Found this CV in the mine field. After take it to the planet, I started to make the material needed to fix it. Lot of work, but the result is a T3 CV with Shield T2.
Well, it finally got to me and I did something about it. When I modified the carrier into existence I used the Cerulean Star as the center and then tacked the monstrous hangars to the sides. The thing is, I really wanted to use the new heavy windows on it. I REALLY wanted to use the new heavy windows on it. Initially I made heavy window "blast shields" in front of the cockpit and greenhouse dome. ... but I never liked the look of the blast shields, and I could not replicate the dome and cockpit glass with the heavy windows because the required shapes do not exist in the game. It finally got to me today, so I did this to the cockpit and greenhouse. I also modified one of my BA's so it is large enough to park this thing on.
You know what you should do is use the shape of what you have there as a "nacelle" or twinned hull sections and have two of them on either size of some main cockpit area.
Reforged Eden. Crawling like bug on the bottom of the ocean. Hiding from scout ship, running away from drones. Looking for ore deposits. This is awesome.
Worked hard on the overhaul to the space playfields in the scenario. Added a new Colonists mining fleet. Each fleet has a random assortment of miners that are mining different asteroids. Each mining ship has a trader inside that sells the same type of ore they are mining, buys cv multi-turrets and drills, or you can raid the miner for ore if you don't mind becoming hostile with them.
As far as general Shaping, Lights and a bit of Texture are concerned the CV 'Carl Sagan' is ready for its Trials. Size Class 6 CPU T4, about 2.7Million CPU allocated 2x320k +2 Cargo Boxes 1 Ammo CC 64k 6 Rocket Turrets, 5 Flak Turrets, 4 Rocket Launcher, 12 Mini Gun Turrets.
