Build 3376 No mods Description: The temperature outside is chilly 10 degrees, but I'm randomly stuck at 35 degrees with the "you're feeling hot" status condition poping up. Steps to reproduce: No idea what could have caused this, a brand new game, the only thing I've done recently is use a drone to do some mining and ride a bike. I'm at the quest stage of building a core to fix the damaged station. If I had to guess, the bug kicked in as night fell and outside temperature should have made my body temperature drop, it instead forced it up. Vertified files no problems found. Edit: Closing the game and reopening it seems to have fixed it? Or maybe it got fixed because I got into an HV and my temperature returned to normal range? This is such a random and relatively minor glitch that I'm not even sure what to make of it. I can only leave this post here to see if anyone else notices a simular problem...
By any chance, did you have a Fever Attack debuff as well? It doesn't sound like it from what you described, but the Fever Attack will cause you to feel too hot, no matter the external temperature. You could be outside in the freezing cold of space, and get the "too hot" message with Fever Attack...
No, and I didn't go near anything that could possibly have provided warmth like engine or generator either. I haven't seen the bug reappear either, though now that I have armor it doesn't really get cold enough for environment to affect my temperature. I honestly don't know what caused it... it could have been some sort of cache bug I suppose, I may have been doing something in a creative game before starting a new game, idk...
Didn't think so from your previous post, but figured I'd bring it up... just in case. I'll keep an eye out for this one, too, and if I do, see if I can capture any of it. (but it's gotta show up first) I wonder if this is related to the caching issues that impacted the questlines
