So - in the "construction project "N" we introduced the function "SHOW AIR-SEALED BLOCKS" .... but even this DOES NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM WITH LOOKING FOR OXYGEN LEAKAGE (!)

Once I redid my old CV -> added some tanks and modules .... but when checking - when I turned on "SHOW OXYGEN", I found NO OXYGEN IN THE ROOM (!!!)

Then I turned on the "SHOW SEALED BLOCKS" option, but even this DID NOT HELP to see the "THIN WAY" through which oxygen is leaking (!!!) ... (because some new modules are in the ROOM, the rest of the modules are hidden INSIDE the ship's hull , but not separated by building blocks (!) ... therefore - WE MUST NEED A NEW OPTION TO SHOW - THROUGH WHAT BLOCKS / MODULES / DEVICES oxygen leaks (!)

I see this function like this - when the option "show the WAY of oxygen LEAKS" is activated == >> all modules / blocks / devices == >> become HALF TRANSPARENT (50%), and are colored RED (!)

Been there its a really frustrating, check your doors not all are air tight, and stairs are not airtight even blast doors are not airtight which is crazy.

Well, first don't yell like that, it's rude...

second when you use the show airtight while you build and before you place too much stuff it does help. (especially in creative with no clip, but i guess you did that in live and on a server? try making a blueprint and spawn it in creative.) you could also multitool the devices until you see all of the hull. or look from outside. dividing the ship in sections (i did it for a space station in live) also helps to narrow down where a leak could be.

third if it is an old ship probably somewhere you left an opening that was under half a block ,which was airtight (but should no be). some patch made the calculation for this more accurate. (like in last year?)

in my opinion this is not something we really need as there are enough methods of fixing a ship not being airtight.
sure it would make finding a leak easy, but also would take away some skill-need in building ships.

To add to the above suggestions:
CV Rocket Launchers are NOT airtight either.
In addition I suggest to open the Control Panel, look at how much O² is in the Vessel and How much is needed.
Next try to locate each Ventilator you have placed. One by one. Add one or two O² tanks, fill them and check again for O². Sometimes the Amount of O² is just enough to fill the Areas around the Ventilators.
Also, Hull Blocks made of THIN Blocks have to be checked as not all of them are Air tight. Which does not show sometimes.
Doors with Glass are not Airtight and neither are those later added Blast Doors.

As stated before by @me777 an additional and complex(to program) control mechanism is unnecessary to be added. IMO.

I would love to see that whole green blocks/ O2 floating prisms system replaced by a simple "pssccchtt" of white gas being ejected from the ship/ base where there is a leak. Too many "positive" information clutters the view (all OK blocks/ corridors/ rooms), would be better just to show the problems in a more fun and "expected" way, since there are typically way much less problematic areas than correct ones. Less objects to render overall, and the green overlay is not perfectly adjusted to blocks shapes, and I found some very small gaps that were hard to see in the uniform green overlay. So just a small jet of gas shooting out of the hull in problematic areas could be easy to do, and this could force adding a longer delay when the leak is very small compared to the ship/ base volume. Right now it's like all oxygen disappears in a matter of seconds even with a tiny leak, and we have to search all the ship/base to find it with no clue in a uniform green blob with gaps where non-airtight blocks are (ex. interior doors, internal devices), which adds to the confusion.
