I am trying to create a pair of portals on our hosted server (Gportal). We use reforged eden and I made 2 structures in creative mode, 1 called homebase and the other called legacybase, I put solar power on them and named the portals homeportal and legacyportal, respectively. I gave the portal on homebase the target of legacyportal@legacybase: Phuch (no space but : P with no space makes here and can be confusing haha) and gave the portal on legacybase the target of homeportal@homebase:'POSO 31429 I'. Then I went on to our server, enabled SBP and spawned the homebase structure on POSO 31429 I and the legacybase structure on Phuch. Both portals are powered on but they say "no portal target set" and when you step through them it acts like it is teleporting you but you never leave the playfield. I have tried setting them to private and to our faction and get the same result either way. Any help would be greatly appreciated
I belive its playfeild name@poi name? I think Rexaus has a tutorial somewhere. You can also spawn the Lumariln (sp?) To look at its setup.
You have to use the full syntax due to the Galaxy Code: BlockName@StructureName:PlayfieldName@StarName#OriginId
Forgot myself where but it is Code: DeviceName@StructureName:playfieldName@StarSystem#OriginID (Optional)----------------------------------------------------------(Optional)
The Origin Id is found in the Sectors.yaml or DefReputation.ecf You do not need to set this. Only if you want to limited a portal to a certain origin In the default game there is only one origing Called Human with Id 1
Ok, so: legacyportal@legacybase: Phuch@'Dri Beta' homeportal@homebase:'POSO 31429 I'@Zizidra or is legacybase: Phuch@'Dri Beta' homebase:'POSO 31429 I'@Zizidra sufficient?
No you need the @StarName as i said due to the Galaxy BlockName and Origin can be left out. Rest is manditory
legacybase: Phuch@'Dri Beta' structurename: legacybase playfield: Phuch star: 'Dri Beta' homebase:'POSO 31429 I'@Zizidra structurename: homebase playfield: 'POSO 31429 I' star: Zizidra am I missing something?
nearly right You dont need 'POSO 31429 I' in portals Just type as POSO 31429 I No need to use the ' marks in them You can just type the name normal with the space
alright legacybasehuch@Dri Beta homebaseOSO 31429 I@Zizidra should be good to go then? Thank you! I will test tonight
