Please put in game - to in constructors = FIX PRODUCT FOR MANUFACTURING (!) It should be x1 cell, in which only one product will be constantly (always) produced - for example, "fuel energy cell" (!) Even when the raw materials in the box run out - the constructor DOES NOT CANCEL THE PRODUCTION QUEUE (!), but only goes into standby mode when all the necessary components for the production of "fixed products" (!) I suggest this from today's experience - I have been extracting promethium, water, and iron for 1.5 months to make "HYDROGEN ENERGY CELLS" ... but the difficulty is that when the raw materials in the box are over - the designer CANCELS THE PRODUCTION QUEUE (! ) ... I have 20+ constructors, and each one makes different components - promethium pellets, hydrogen from water, iron sheets from iron .... and when the raw materials are over - the constructor resets the production queue ... therefore it is VERY HARD in 20 constructors - to restore the production queue (!) I also ask you to introduce such a function in the Reforge mode (!) Thanks!
I agree with that suggestion You can work around that issue a bit by using a small-ish output storage (according to the amount of items you want to have), since the constructor stops doing stuff, but does not delete the queue when the output is full.
probably not with the players who are chatting here for nothing, but with the developers who sometimes read these topics (!)
'Reforged' is a Scenario and nothing the Developers created and therefore you'll have to wait until its creators do something (or nothing at all).
And we can't add anything like that anyway. It's a good suggestion for the game but scenarios cannot change things like that. The earlier suggestion to use smaller cargo boxes is a decent workaround for now.
@bbk.3164 reforged Eden is a custom scenario and the game developers cannot assist with issues with it. You will either need to speak to an admin on the server you play on or post in the appropriate forum post, workshop page, or discord channel for the scenario. You are told this in the loading screen for the scenario, in the loading screen tips, in the pda, and in the guide you start the game with. The bug report and suggestions forums are not the appropriate places to leave feedback on custom scenarios.
I don’t see the point of creating SOME SEPARATE SCENARIO, because it CAN BE OFFICIALLY INTRODUCED INTO THE GAME (!) And it seems = this section is intended to tell your ideas to developers (!)
We all understood that. What @ravien_ff is telling you is that Eleon will not "introduce this change in Reforged Eden" or do anything regarding player-made scenarios (apart debugging if the bug also happens in vanilla), like you asked in your first post. If Eleon changes something to the base game and some scenario author does not want it in his scenario, you can not ask Eleon to put that new change in the player scenario : you have to ask the scenario author for this.
The game developers do not create nor support Reforged Eden. They cannot add content to the scenario. Vermillion and myself are the only two who can do that. If your suggestion is to add this to the game then leave Reforged Eden out of it because the developers have nothing to do with custom scenarios that players make.
@Hummel-o-War It would be totally great if the constructors could be controlled via API (AddItemToQueue(id, count), RemoveItemFromQueue(id, count), ItemsInQueue -> IdItem[]) everything else we could do then ourselves
I thought that Reforge is some basic base, an analogue of Vanilla, in which (in Reforge) there are also some basic functions, for example, "Building window (N) ... or Library + Factory (F2) - is present in both Vanilla and Reforge (!) Therefore, I proposed to supplement the standard set of the Reforge branch with additional basic functions) So that later mod-masters would have less work to fill YOUR Reforge-MOD with different functions ...
You are mistaken. Scenarios are merely a set of various custom configs. They can be quite complex, but they are still just configs. We do not have access to the game code. We cannot add new game code.
