Just came back to the game after a long hiatus, about 2 years, and there's been a lot of wonderful developments, but also a lot of features I would have wished were already done. First the good: lots of new critters, crouching, exploration tokens, longer story (albeit still not finished), the water looks amazing, a much improved dialogue system, keys (love them!) and overall many remodelled items and new textures. Oh and the posters are a lovely addition! The bad: no improvement has been done on controls, boo! Flight mechanics appear to be the same. There is still no targetting system on ships??? You still can't take over enemy ships and enemies despawn quicker than you can loot them. If I had to pick one, it would be controls! Why when I set my ship to a speed (CTRL+W) I can't use any of the other ones e.g. A, D, SPACEBAR and C without deactivating it. This means chasing drones or CVs is almost impossible and you end up jousting all the time. But what I would really like to see is the return of JOYSTICK control!!! The mechanics are all right there, cruise control, auto brake and clearly analogue support for gamepads, or am I wrong? I've been saying for years that space and the flight experience is what needs the most work for late game enjoyment.
For what you back?! There is no new content many years ago! Maybe you mean Reforged Eden scenario? There was some new things but now they do nothing too! Eleon - wake up amd listen players! Where is these old devs that build all content in the game? Because these now can only change the colors - its a shame to ruin that beautifull game (((
From my context I said it in the post: lots of new critters, crouching, exploration tokens, longer story (albeit still not finished), the water looks amazing, a much improved dialogue system, keys (love them!) and overall many remodelled items and new textures. Although you're right, got bored with those additions a week later... They really need to work on late game and stop fiddling with the early game. Are you responsible for Eden?
