Fixed Stuck on quest

I am doing the Talon Clear Skies quest and I am asked to investigate the underground facility at the Artifact site. Unfortunately, while I was exploring the planet and before I started any quests I already encountered and ran through the Artifact site. Now the game won't let me progress the quest. I went through the whole thing again and flipped the switch. It won't even let me manually finish it by checking the box. I deactivated it and reactivated it and went back and talked to the Captain of the Guard again but nothing.

 

They really need to change the mission/ quest system so that it will count and keep tabs on quest objectives EVEN IF the quest hasn't been found or activated yet.

Until they do that quests/missions are going to continue to break constantly due to players finding things early.
Until then players are going to keep being punished for playing a sandbox game like a sandbox.....

 

The odd part is that it won't even let me manually check the box to force its completion. That usually worked before.

 

You can only manually check them off if the devs set it up to allow that option.
Sounds like they didn't (or accidentally removed it).

 

Zirax drone base very big bug ... you can't use your wepons the game is crash ,your ship get sever damage .afther you relog in the ship is on bad condition no fuell you can't atack ,the sv is vert far distance from your cv ,

Funny, the Tutorial even says you can do this if a quest is broken.

 

It is configured on a individual step/objective basis for each and every mission/quest.
So within one mission some steps can be configured to allow it while other steps can be configured to not allow it.

They just forgot steps/objectives.

 

I've ran into this problem too. I somehow was able to progress through it but it was a pain. I tried to use console commands to regenerate the POI, deactivate the quest, and then activate it manually. I somehow was able to get through it but I am not fully sure exactly how and which step it was.

 

I already deleted that game and started a new one.
And now my suit light does not work.
I know this is a known issue but come on.
This is extremely annoying. It needs to be fixed ASAP.

 

Yeah and right now I'm running into a problem with Convoy not having mission closet so I can't progress on it at all. I'm trying to find a way to force it to complete but it's difficult to find the exact command for toggling it so that I can bypass it until it's fixed.

 

Oh and I've already reported this bug, the suit light is not the only thing that stopped working. Even work lights and torches don't cast light anymore and it was too dark to see anything even with night goggles. :/ I hope that it gets fixed soon.

 

Not sure if my mission was bugged, but I flipped the ventilation switch and didn't know what to do from there. I spent a long time looking for the core but couldn't find it.
