blocked thrusters range

Is there any range for blocking thrusters?
When you place a thruster and there is a big gap, maybe 5-10 to the next block, is it still blocking it?
If this works, how much space you need to give them then?

 

If you're using the blocked thruster option Eleon advise not to as it's bugged.

 

I play on a vanilla community server, i dont know if itsactive. Even when its off i wanna build working thrusters for every scenario.

My question is if there is any range you can build again or do you need infinite range open for thrusters?

 

Thrusters can be buried, however the server you play on may have their own rules on this so ask them to be sure.
