Main Storyline: Terminal Nexus (new) Added 5-part story campaign ‘Terminal Nexus’ for Talon/Talon’Ar which is concluding the main storyline. A new savegame IS required. Testing note: As a convenience, the mission can be started without having played other story missions : Open the PDA, then go to the Solo Mission Tab > Talon and activate the mission ‘Next: TERMINAL NEXUS (Main Story)’ and follow the instructions. The quest giver is Tharkan which, in the mission part 1 + 2 is available on Omicron Station as a Hologram. Later he will be available from another place. Missions in general: All new/reworked story missions (main and local) have gotten additional helper chapters that will both allow to see what to do next (f.ex.: “Next: Talk to…”) or resume a deactivated mission without having to speak to the mission quest giver. Please note that the new story dialogues and texts have not yet been translated. General Info for story testing (not only related to this mission arc): Please avoid using gm, gm iv and gm fly when teleporting or console-teleporting to destinations while testing. This might/will break the PDA operations that are tied to a lot of tasks. Same accounts for teleporting to playfields/suns/orbits with the same gm tools enabled: this can lead to broken jump-bookmarks which cannot be removed by the game afterwards anymore (you can remove them manually, when you are in their target playfield/sector/sun orbit).
Feedback example questions to answer for the mission campaign: 1. Did you always know what to do next? (If not, please describe the situation you got lost in) 2. Did any of the mission tasks or actions not work at all? 3. Did the on-screen messages (bottom center) give you enough info on what to do next (in addition to the task list on the right screen side) 4. Did the dialogues provide enough info or context for the mission 5. Did you read more than just the mission description dialogues (like additional answers or infos given by the quest givers?) 6. Did you find the quest givers locations easily? 7. Were the "Next: .." info chapters of any help (PDA > mission list) 8. Did you understand the sorting of the missions in the PDA overview? 9. Did you use the "Resume mission" helper mission at any time 10. What is you general feedback about tonality, context and story of the mission?
On the planet Nemoris I, scanned the whole planet and there is no Control Terminal. No waypoint, nothing! Found artifacts and Azure Junctions, Activators, Arrays and Font of knowledge, but NO control terminal! This is a single player game. Really looking forward to this mission, but this kinda sucks that I can't go on.
Going to land and see if I can GMIV back to the station and try the teleporter. Not sure if anything will happens, but tried everything I can sort of admin crap. Hope I can at least get it going without "skipping" the next few steps with the PDA check box.
Same happened to me using the teleport present in the supergate, had to skip all the steps until I was asked to come back to Omicron Station. Then I was asked to go to Talon main settlement to take the portal to Talonar... but the portal in the settlement is dead no way to use it. If there's a console command to power it up please tell me. Edit: I've took ownership of the settlement via console and switched on the portal... Later I've jumped in the talon ship and it didn't got enough cpu and power... so the generator nearly exploded while charging the shields... what a mess lol...
