Hello Galactic Survivalists! After a successful first round of version 1.15 Experimental, we are launching phase 2 today, which includes several improvements and changes. Among other things, the Short Range Warp function now has a cooldown of 25 seconds for all scenarios and all warpdrives. However, it can now also be used to jump close to a planet or moon in the same game field. Our new content test scenario DEFAULT RANDOM EXPERIMENTAL also features new content with the Treasure Hunt. To try it out, jump to the „Frontline Alpha“ star, or begin a new game session on „Contact Point Alpha“. The planet “Mote” in that system has examples. The planet „Sunrise“ has two more treasures hidden. You can find many more in the galaxy on the normal snow planets. There are NO missions for this - You have to find them with a keen eye, the use of detectors and the HUD radar! As always, you can find all other changes in detail in the list below. Weird. I proposed this EXACT change 5 months ago and was told by Taelyn at the time I was wrong and it wasn't a config file issue. Then they implemented my exact change anyways.... Like I posted the exact line and everything and was still told I was wrong. I even quoted that EXACT line, with that exact change....
Because we fixed the code so this line actually works. Add the line on v1.14 and test it out, then you will see it WONT work. Adding something in a config file doesnt magicly make something work, there needs to be support for it in the code
We had already added that to our own EClassConfig file a long time ago to try to fix it and it was still broken, so yeah just confirming this was something they needed to change in the code.
