Oh man, I used to complain about how moronically most people mine, but eventually I gave up. Still bothers me to see, like you said, a hold directly to the bottom, and the majority of the ore stuck to the ceiling out of reach. I'll have to stop myself there before I say something rude lol I've asked Shakles in the past and he didn't have a solid answer for situations like this. If it were me, I'd give them a verbal warning that they have 24 hours to relocate before their base is destroyed (only applies if they are online or have someone online who can pass along the message). But that's just me.
Well, what is the closest thing best time for you? And yes, this is whey no one in GMT has gotten a promotion, there are a couple of hardworking, and really helpful GMT members that should be too. While I don't know exactly what server rules are on building next to ores are, I will remove any base that hinders another player. It use to be limited to how close you can build to a ore. I'm not exactly sure what to do about this, I was kinda hoping to have a leadership chain set up by now. Is there any other neodymium at the moment planet side?
Danube Alpha is PvE. Still, I did succumb to curiosity & did try 'testing' the PvE thingie by trying taking my Harvester to their Base Side... that confirmed I could not attack them. Was worth a try. Wish I could, but sadly i'm a GMT Grunt atm. This is the Boss's jurisdiction. My RL is unstable & erratic, & there's never any such thing as a off duty time for me. (& that's when Dad's NOT here... when he is i'm not available period unless I dare to do it, in a great big act of outright stupidity. ) For reference, I live in Washington State, USA, & thus am in the Pacific Time Zone. I can get on in the mornings & noonish time sometimes if I don't oversleep too hard & have time left after I get my Heroes of the Storm Quest(s) done for the say & even then sometimes I use my remaining time to work on Creations in Creative Mode. (Still need to try again at making my Merc SV. I got some ideas goin in my head on strategy changes based on how my last Build Attempt fared not so well.) When in the evening I can get on is also not stable, but I tend to average 6-7 PMish. Also, my Tyrax Hunter Miner is working beautifully at its job. ^_^ I can't quit finding it hilarious that my Passenger Seats on it stuck on sideways work & I can offer my Clanners sideways Rides on it! XD
My apologies for this Self Quote, but I Edited this in & the Thread moved to the Next Page already before I got this Edited in, so just in case this got missed...
Hmm quite interesting. However it would be quite a long symbol... something like "http://empyriononline.com/threads/r...assive-battles-and-more-all-are-welcome.4680/" which is rather verbose and not exactly easy to remember and plug into a browser without copy/pasting it.
We really need better faction tools. Once those are in effect, things like MODs (message of the day) will be very helpful.
Well, Friday, noonish around your time, if enough people are on I'm planning on running a POI. I use to live at Ft.Lewis, and had an apartment in Tacoma, nice place Washington is (also where I met my wife). One day hope to take my son up there and show him the beauty of WA state.
Holy wow! What Computer Sorcery is this!? This is awesome! This looks totally usable for the idea! Wow, cool! Long ago when my Dad was in active service & was stationed in Ft. Lewis, I was a kiddo & Mom & Dad would take me there from time to time for stuff like shopping. Friday noonish might be difficult for me, dunno if Dad will show up early or not in prep for my Fav Aunt & Uncle arriving that day in the evening or not. Where will the Raid be located & how long do they average taking?
We will use the rogue planet. But if you need to leave, I can bring you back to Danube at any time, or if you come late, pick you up. I really hate leaving anyone out. I've told Broken and Slam many times, I'd rather play outnumbered then leave anyone out.
I'll try to make it then, but I can't make any guarantees, plus I might cheese off my Mom attempting this.
Hmm still neo problems... I was able to dig through the build/dig barrier as long as I was outside of it. I might speed make my crappy looking but effective heavy bomber and see if I can churn it out.
Okay so I remember doing something like this back in early febuary with different results. Not sure what I did different or what has changed. I fired a few 20 rocket launcher salvos and gained the visual results I expected except, the percentage. Edited: That's why I was dismantling my bomber btw. Also all the minerals spawned in or around my sv and fell to the ground was kinda funny.
ATTENTION TO EVERYONE ON DANUBE: I've just finished a round of deleting bases and POIs that seemed abandoned and unused. At the time of this writing there are 57 structures on Danube, you should be able to build some more stuff now. Take note: - If your base had a lot of stuff in it or if it was big, I haven't deleted it. - If your base had a clan tag - GMT, TFB, even Compania - I haven't deleted it. I will let WarMachine delete GMT buildings at his discretion unless for some reason he asks me to delete a GMT building, and I will talk to TFB before I remove any of their structures on Danube. - If your base was deleted and you had crappy/small stuff near it, like a 5-block-long minimalist SV, I deleted it. Sorry but GMT and others need the structures for more important things. Some bases are currently candidates for deletion. Provided I remember to do this, I will look around Danube and check in on the bases which are candidates for deletion. If I see no sign of life (nearby vehicles in different positions, new stuff added to the base, players using the base, etc) compared to the previous days, I will delete it after a few days. I might delete it faster if players on Danube report to me that they are certain nobody has used the equipment. These bases are candidates for deletion. I don't think players can activate the di command and use coordinates, so only admins can use it, but if your base might be one of the below ones, let somebody know so that it won't get deleted in a few days. - Unnamed base, at coordinates 1737/32/51 - "1st Base", at coords 3856/56/526 - "Xan's Home (BA)", at coords -611/32/-837 - "Shadow.com", at coordinates 1273/40/-1305 There's also a TIE Interceptor v3.8 near Zalrik's "Outpost", would its owner please step forward...? *EDIT* The TIE Interceptor has been seen in action, it is no longer a candidate for deletion. Also, I found that We Who Survived is owned by Redemption who is active; it is not a candidate for deletion either.
Thank you for deleting some of the structures and vehicles. I had been forced into space to build after the core limit was reached.
