Well then, here is my current ground base "Basiskomplex Alpha 2" on Akura. I had to build a new one, as my old saves stoped working and also my old base blueprint told me, that there are some parts which are to old to go on playing with it. Well, so there is a new one It is much smaller than my old one "Omicron Alpha Basiskomplex", and just builded for my survival in my current game on akura. So it got much lesser room. It got an sleeping room, a bath & health room, two 30mm guns, an hydroponic garden for food and an energie-generator room with an small area with the constructor and O2 facility. Hope you enjoy it

This is an alien POI I made for high difficulty planets. The idea behind it is that its a pre-fabricated base that would be towed by a CV and dropped on a planet where it would land using its rocket boosters and legs. (I mean in theory not in game) I tried to make it as functional looking as possible whilst also looking weird and alieny. It should be challenge as well. Not tested it though.
Hi troops! A lot of fancy bases here . I want to share my second build with you. I know it's not a super effective base or something overpowered, but maybe some people like it for lore related stuff. Name: Orbital-Cargo-Satellite-SX01_v2 Purpose: Orbiting a planet as an supply unit for deep space missions. It has a very small but functional interior, so you can refuel O2 and using cargo space for storing resources. In addition you can rebuild parts to extend its functionality. Weaponary: None Edit: So i published the base via steam workshop under the url: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=756545108 Click the images for larger resolutions
One of several basic starter bases I have built for myself to run the gauntlet of survival. The level requirements are a very low level 3! Easily expandable, has room for more amenities in the interior, and if you are looking for a SV landing spot, the roof space over the growing plots can double as a landing pad in the short term. The base can be found on Steam here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=759880851 The small vessel you can see in two of the images above is the Aura_Vita, a tough, super fast and maneuverable small combat ship for taking on POI defenses and drones. It can be found here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=754599040 The capital ship hanging ominously in the background of several of those shots is not yet finished, and will likely take more time. Enjoy!
Still a little new to the game but I built a base I thought others would like to check out I call it the Sand Worm. I took the growing plots out to make it cheaper to build or in case someone wanted to build this without them.
I have a couple bases to share. The first is a castle I made. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=753028636 The second is a tiny concrete bunker. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=761739280
Thanks. Always room for another castle though. There are so many different and interesting designs for them.
Ha! I appreciate the encouragement. To give complete disclosure; I did try once, but could not find any flat terrain on Akua - at least with the seed I was playing on. So I took to trying to flatten the terrain. Mind you I was playing in single player survival, and, well, after an hour of flattening I was so completely burnt out on the idea that I build a little cement pyramid, and have yet to return to the castle idea.
This is my latest creation. A tower base with two hangar bays. One at ground level and one with rooftop access. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=763276991
Oh man. I wouldn't even think of trying to build something that big on the fly on survival mode. I always proof it out in creative mode first.

There we go! Nice! This is absurdly brilliant. Nicely *)&$Ying done! I tried creating two of these stations far apart while facing one another - the hope being for each station to "catch" the incoming players, but it did not work very well. The deceleration was not enough. Granted pressing "J" from jump jets/rocket pack does the trick, but I was hoping for something more automatic.
Hi guys, just created a new base called it Sky Village hope you like it. Here's the link... Sky Village http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=766748690 Bubble Ship http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=766749001
After a few weeks of playing, I've finally begun sharing some of my creations with the web - figured this one at least might spark some interest: Angelspire (link) Mostly steel, little bit of concrete - beautiful to look at but cheap to build (for a base of this size). Personally, I like building into the terrain more - split-level homes, mountainside bases, bunkers, that kind of thing - but by nature they're very specific to their location, and thus not really suitable for Workshop publishing. That's where Angelspire comes in. Flat base, moderate footprint - any clear spot will do. No defenses though, so it's best to build a few turret-buildings around the perimeter, or keep an armed SV ready for repelling drones and other hostiles. The growing area is probably my favorite spot, somewhat resembles a modern art studio. @Kaeser - I really like the Sky Village aesthetic. Would loved to have a look around in person, but I'm not opted in for the "experimental" builds (and don't intend to), so for the time being I'll simply have to admire your pictures.
