Really liking this one. It has just enough hints in the design to remind me of the SR-71. That low profile on the y axis is really slick.
Masterfully made, good job! But two things I can't figure out - what are the wing struts made of? And how can it be only 550 iron and 42 blocks? Even the wings by themselves must be more than that?
*edit: I have fixed it so now anyone reading your post will think you cray-cray. Ah... I see it. Device and Block are switched. I may have done that, or the devs may have swapped 'Block' and 'Device' placement. The wing struts are the new railings. Their model is a little bigger than 1 block so they end up digging into other models, which looks good here .
That's an aggressive looking ship! Great looking from all angles. I like that you haven't neglected the underside, looks great from below too.
First off, thanks to everyone who reguarly posts to this and the other blueprint threads. You guys have been a great inspiration, not to mention a great source of enjoyment, for me. Now, let me introduce to everyone the first blueprint I've published publicly to the workshop, the Peregrine Mk III http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=869471922
I have two SV's to showcase. They are sister ships. One is a 24 Cargo Container shuttle called the Pack Rat and the other is a 1o man personal shuttle called the Kangaroo. Thank you for looking. Due to there being 3 builds in one, I am posing this in all three threads, hope that's O.K. As my first Capital Vessel, I wanted to make a Superman-like character, but then where would I stash the Warp Drive?.... The Body is a Capital Vessel, and the head is a Small Vessel. There is a door in the neck of the head and body to traverse between the two while connected. The platform (or a reasonable facsimile) is required due to how tall this is, and there being absolutely no spare room inside for an elevator! Donut-Man Body: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=869605068 Donut-Man Head: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=869605012 Optional, yet highly recommended Launch Platform: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=869595193
Raven III An update to my assault ship The raven. Added x2 homing rockets, wings. new engines, and smoothed some of the edge armor plate blocks. It's still fits in the SV hangar for the Cheyenne XXV CV (Sold separately )
Hi everyone, been following this forum for some weeks now. I realy like what you guys are building and designing. I got a lot of inspiration for my own projects from here. So I thought I should post something in return to show you how thankfull I am. So here we go: The Gladius /Star Citizen (She's a bit heavy and tends to drift while turning but it makes circlestrafing quiet easy)
Peregrine Falcon http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=874949686 Fighter Craft Unlock Level 17 Size Class 1 35x9x28 851Blocks 190 Devices 4 Lights 22770 Triangles Hardened steel SV intended designed as a fighter dog/fighter. This unit was built for taking on POI's in multiplayer. Hardened steel design is to ensure you come out unscathed while you pummel POI turrets. The SV includes • 73 Thrusters • 43 RCS • 6 Gatling Guns • 4 Rocket Launchers • 4 Homing Rocket Launchers • 3 Rail Guns • 4 Fuel Tanks • 2 Oxygen tanks • 1 Oxygen Station • 1 Work Bench for mobile repairs/crafting • 3 Cargo Containers • 1 Cockpit • 2 Passenger Chairs • 1 Refrigerator for storing food • 4 Ammo boxes The Peregrine Falcon is very responsive but forgiving. It handles very well in space and on planets. It's quick, it's fast. Flies well for a heavy ship. It consumes hydrogen fuel very quick (I recommend Large Promethium or Fusion Cells).
A rework from an older SV that has patiently bin awaiting some love. As it predated from the weapon limits, i've coated it anew. The Usurper : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=737661800
Well I've made new version of my PF-10 Meteor light fighter: PSI PF-10B Meteor Steam Workshop: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=875771750 PF-10B Meteor is the interceptor version of the lightweight, rugged and versatile fighter frame. It is the mainstay space fighter of Polaris Space Industries and its private security forces. Meteor sacrifices Mobile Constructor for extra maneuvering - and is very agile and fast interceptor designed to be operated aboard space carriers. B-type Meteor standard armament consists of four Pulse Lasers - but it can easily adapt to any four weapon systems. Affordable, agile, versatile - purchase your Meteor today!
Here is my first creation that I felt was good enough to share: It is a small spherical fighter. 13 blocks in diameter What do you think? http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=877823102
