Omega Corp Mining Outpost POI group name: customPOI It's been set up with alien weapons, spawners, loot containers, an alien core, etc although it hasn't been tested.
I made an alien POI that you can use on your dedicated servers. Start from the ground and fight up to the top (most fun when you dont use vessels for this!) have fun! Group name for this is (if not changed): CeraxDom
Someone suggested we should put these here for (possible) inclusion as AI Freighters. 41-Humpback Spoiler: Shiny Shiny, Shiny Ship of Steel 42-Humpback(Cargo) Spoiler: One with Cargo I'd always assumed that publishing something on the workshop was implied consent for (possible) inclusion in the base game.
In the game files there's a ship called the CV Lightning. It was outdated and obsolete. Now it's not. In the process of updating the ship I decided to give it a facelift as well. Old and new side by side
Well, it is. However given the sheer amount of 'other junk' added to the workshop, when something kicks off and is popular, and you see it fitting a specific role, submitting it more directly like this works out good.
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=878627135&tscn=1488868233 In fact, it is not very useful. But it's a beautiful ornament. Unfortunately the reach of the drill bit is short. But it was fun to build something like that.
I've been working on something like that. It's really a shame that the reach of turrets drill is so limited, because we could create really cool and much less problematic HVs (in terms of control). http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=878380909 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=878381028
Here's something different. Created a farm complex using the games farm as a starting point. It is fully equipped with all the amenities. Plus you get it for free. No resources needed and no level requirement. For full details and to download goto the Nexus: http://www.nexusmods.com/empyriongalacticsurvival/mods/7/?
I would like to introduce the Raider (version 3). It is a very maneuverable ship that is very agile and extremely fun to use to attack POIs. I use this ship exclusively in single player, but multiplayer PvE and PvP players may take interest as well. The vessel has a very aggressive attitude and I am very pleased with how it turned out. I hope you all enjoy flying it as much as I do. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=865728504 Feel free to see my highlight videos on my Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4sbOodappAO0Ef-J63zcPjOZY-3NySpq and please do watch Anders Strand's review video of this fine vessel. Thank you.
Why is this on nexus, and not the built-in steam workshop? Also, all the different styles and colors all in a tight area, makes it looks more haphazard than something that all has a theme they follow. If you were going for a flea market look, or street carnival... then ok. Otherwise, its just too haphazard.
It's not on steam because steam can only install BPs. This is a prefab that also includes the "Temperate" folder. With this added to that playfield file. It also has been given it's own group name. Since the playfields load groups. As for color choice. Wood is the primary texture used. Then each building type was given a color of it's own. Brown for repair and construction stuff, green for food area, blue for utilities (Fuel, O2) Red for administration, The community center was the only building went a little loose on color. Was trying to get the loose feel of a bar. Look at pic of inside with chairs pulled up to bar. So not as haphazard when seen from my twisted eyes. Only have so much to work with. Also has a repair pit (so you can get under vehicles without lifting them). Besides. As stated in permissions (Once you download it, do whatever you wish with it. The only thing I ask is that, whatever you do with it, you have a lot of fun doing it).
MobileFactoryUnit Simple but but very useful 16 constructors 36 storage crates docks on walls useful for making components or processing raw resources off base
Introducing, Drinker of Worlds. Really not sure where this Hovercraft fits. Likely late game, but a resourceful person could scavenge for enough materials mid game. Both of these scenarios are considered for survival, BUT, this might be decent for some pvp duty - just be warned, I did not design it with pvp in mind. Super heavy but decently agile for its size, it is all hardened steel, very heavily armed(it has floating gun platforms that assist it in battle,) and has the necessities in the interior - including some fun signage from me; hopefully it helps you chuckle as you murder stuff. Steam Link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=883846582 Just something I have tinkering with, but I like it a lot, and Drinker is tons of fun, Enjoy!
Here's a POI that will give everyone that tries it nightmares. We have this Epsilon POI on our custom nightmare planet. Everything on that planet wants to kill humans! Description: First this is a prefeb not a blueprint. To install unzip file. Open the folder and drag and drop the "content" folder to your games root directory. Merge and overwrite when asked. Rather than give you our nightmare planet we placed this POI on Omicron's playfield (desert). It is made for those comfortable with high impact battle situations. Suggested level should be above 15. There will be storage containers inside the POI to store your loot as you go. You need not bring any food. The Epsilon will give you plenty to eat. Advice: 1) Have 8 rifles and 1 band aids on your hotbar. 2) Have nothing in your inventory except lots of bullets and band aids. You will need lots of both. 3) Once inside your only enemies will be Epsilons and stationary sentries. So don't need any other meds except Band aids. 4) After taking out the outside defense. It would be wise to park a CV just outside. Make sure the CV has either a clone chamber or medic chamber and is set (by CP) to home. This way when you die (and you will), you can respawn close to POI without spawning right back into enemy territory. Not good to go to a gun fight without a gun. Also remember to turn CV guns off before approaching the POI. Lastly. If your the blaster jack type. That just wants to go in with your big bad HV. Then you will only get about 1\4 of the loot you will get on foot. When you blast a POI. The suitcases you find are only from loot containers. You loose the loot from enemies and any containers other than the loot containers. This POI was tested and completed by 16 of our crew individually. The best time to complete this was 5 real life hours. The least deaths, 3. I beat everybody at dying, it's the one thing I am a pro at. I died 9 times. This POI can be found on the Nexus at: http://www.nexusmods.com/empyriongalacticsurvival/mods/8/? Here's just a few images. Hope all who try this POI enjoy it.
Introducing Light Cycle 2.0. I really enjoyed making the original Light Cycle and I wanted to continue the theme so this is really more of a Light "Chopper." The original Light Cycle: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=807243730 The original is a painfully inexpensive level 3 exploration vessel. Version 2.0 is a slight higher level(level 5) minimally armed exploration vessel. Still wonderfully inexpensive. Both cycles lend themselves nicely to upgrades. Steam link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=886614739 Enjoy!
