Need somewhere to put your stuff when you'e out a-ramblin? we've got a lovely little base for you Intended as a Forward Operations Base, this base will keep you cozy at night, grow your food, make you ammunition, build whatever you need, and store half a dozen SV's and HV's. A rooftop landing pad will support small landing footprint CV's and larger SV's, please ignore the structural integrity readouts, we're sure the roof is plenty strong enough to land ships on.* It has secure, inert atmosphere storage for ammunition, and a full suite of fabrication, refining, construction and repair functionality. Defenses are not supplied, but a significant number of weapons platforms have been designated to give good overlapping fire arcs on all approaches to the structure.** A "smallish" base this one, designed for mid to end game when you have a bit of spare cash and resources kicking around. It only costs 100k Iron and around 35k Sathium, so it won't break the bank. It's supplied without turrets and external ramps. Spoiler: SMFB - Foward Ops Base * Maximum safe load 1t - Warranty void if overloaded ** Warranty void if non-approved weaponry is installed *** *** Approved weaponry list can be found on a notice board in the gents toilets in the basement of the official bureau of procurement.
Hey guys, as promised here is the Update. The base is fuctional now, and almost complete. All thats lacking is the Reactor room. The Blueprint is up on steam: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=907536095 And u can drop this base in the middle on an RESOURCE Astroid. Normal ones wont work sadly. Pls have a look and let me know what u think, i am konstantly updating this in my survival game. Thx!
Hey people i've made my firts farm... ok this is not really a farm, but it can be =D lol http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=908611957
This week i'm so much produtive lol. This is my outpost #2 and i think is beautiful in old and rusty style =D What do you think? http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=924560253
and the production doesn't stop =D This is my fisrt rusty colony but i confess that i'm not completely happy with this colony... i'll try something more old west/rusty steampunk for the next time =D http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=927275611
@TiwBras It is nice.It gives a different style/theme from the usual motif used to make bases. Looks like more "Mad max" to me. I think it matches well with the game's theme of a scrap made space base on a planet, which was made from scraps salvaged from a fallen CV or something. Very survival style.
I wanted a small residential base, and was feeling unfamiliar and uncomfortable with building in this game still. Decided to see if I could learn and make what I wanted. Definitely feeling more comfortable with how things work now http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=929492444
Do you need some small pieces to make your base? or hunter cabin? Well if you use a hover? http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=932662897
One gets homesick on an alien planet A little taste of 20th century Earth, on Akua. Complete with artificial lawn! I wish there were some decorative plant objects which didn't come in pots. Maybe I'll play around later with using grow plots decoratively. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=933425063
Beaumaris - base with a bridge designed to be built on an island. Made out of concrete as I play on min minerals so iron is to useful to waste on bases. Fully O2 secure and all survival mod cons. This is the sort of base I build on the 2nd planet and so on rather than the first. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=933782215
So I published my first thing. It has zero artistic or creative value. It's a simple survival base made of concrete. For some reason, almost all of the bases I see have very few grow plots. I happen to enjoy growing lots of food, it's good xp and it's fun for me. So, here is my giant concrete box. It will grow lots of food on a planet without air, and give you everything you need to get started on a new planet. There's links to a light and minimal version as well, but in general it's mostly concrete, plus grow plots or things to make constructors and such. Anyway it's a spartan base, but it has 54 food growth plots, a landing spot with repair bay, and everything you need. I did wind up moving the generator under the repair unit just so I didn't have to listen to it. Edit: I fixed my picture links, I was linking to images on Steam and it was doing a window-in-a-window thing, and I got the URL from the wrong window. Fixed. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=935014916
They were jpgs, I just linked them wrong, I got the wrong URL from Steam, the page had the folder instead of a path to the specific jpeg, I got it now... it's not much to look at, but it's very functional for my needs. When I build a base, I just want to farm up food and materials to get off world anyway...
yup showing now - and thats very similar to a base I built a few days ago with the exact same mentality! Concrete is the only main base resource I use (I play on low deposits/min minerals - iron is way to precious to use on bases except for the odd core protection)
Hey guys. this is my new base. hope you like. Used version 6.0 Every group of lights have a switch to on/off ok? =D O2 system and core have a switch too. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=934939077
Sometime you encounter simple things in space like... a satellite. Features: * motion sensor light * oxygenated interior * Can act as a small player base in space. * zero-g interior setup
