The jet-pack sounds a lot like a massive full blown rocket.... I know it needs to be big to move the human mass, but it sounds like it could move the Saturn rocket off the launch pad.
The way medic station/clone chamber functions is messed up and (in my opinion) needs to be fixed. The "nearest" station should not count stations that don't belong to either you or your faction. After dying the other day I respawned but instead of going to the med chamber in my CV it spawns me inside an enemy base (nowhere close to where I was fighting). This ended up causing me a total of 7 deaths (instead of 1) by the time all was said and done. Please fix this.
I just noticed I no longer get any XP for using the multi-tool. Is this by design or did something break recently?
I captured a Drone Base yesterday on the Akua moon, and even after I replaced the core, Troop Transports continued to spawn on the pad. I have an older machine with crap graphics (GeForce 610), so it's pretty normal to get between 7-20 FPS depending on how many lights have been placed. That said, I dropped to 3fps when I got close to the Freighter encounter in Akua orbit.
Sorry man. Your old video card shouldn't constitute a problem with FPS of the game when it's just the video card.
very frustrating, I keep freezing to death in my hanger, I land my SV in the CV (which is in space) hanger, go dump my stuff , then get back into my SV and before I can turn it on, I die. Yes I have no EV boast, not required on planet side. The cockpit should still be warm!
There are few bugs. Apparently cooling of the SV's and HV's happen instantly (and they cool down the outside tempearture, in this case, the space). If not powered, they don't warm up unless you are sitting in them, even if they are inside warm CV hangar. Until fixed, you can work around it by keeping your sv/hv running while in space.
Working through Alpha .6 and completed the quest. Good job overall. There were times that I was "Stuck" in the sense it was too dark to go outside, had no light so I "Waited around" for morning. Dead time like this is bad. I would like to make a suggestion - give a flashlight in the mix to the survival player.
Hey Eleon. I´ve recently streamed some exp3 and found 2 things that still bother me. 1. Assign the -Reload-Button (R) to - Take all- when opening a box. With all the Box-looting we do, its annoying to allways click the Arrow. 2. (posted on the Missions-Thread as well) - still no quests on Omicron, you have to do these on Akua first to be able to do those on Omicron.
hit L the next time you are on, they implemented a shoulder light, not as strong as the old flashlight or firearm-mounted flashlights, but it serves its purpose fairly well. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- on to what i came here for! just cleared the more dreadful variant of the akua drone base, fully cleared with the 6.0 amenities (part 3), the drone base with the walled off top-loading hangar bays, and the pseudo ships floating inside that area. bit on the fence with this, but it feels like there are a few too many turrets, and not really enough mobs, the interlocking fields of fire created by the current sentry turret placement is a bit much for anyone that isnt in full heavy armor with at least a full loadout of multi boosters or armor boosters. though the golem in the room with the core 'sphere' was a nice touch, the 6 sentries in that room alone was a tad bit over the top. personal opinion on it; pull about a half dozen (possibly more) of the sentry turrets out, and replace them with varying mob spawners in the room, as the base feels a bit understaffed so to speak. Even with cheating in items and utilizing the cleverly placed vent system, still died 3 times to the overwhelming number of turrets, i understand that is not a lot, but again, that was also with cheating in a full top tier loadout with a full stack of large medkits.
Please add decoupled turning axis, with the update on CV RCS, my wrist is now cramping just attempting to turn around. It would be easier for CV's to turn until the mouse is recentered.
I'm trully amazed by the fact that somebody used the mouse to turn around a CV even before the nerf... For turns bigger than 30-40 deg. I didn't even think about the mouse... And now I don't think about it at all...
