Hopefully the once this game gets to beta the devs will do some heavy optimizations so performance do not stop creative freedom because I believe the Unity engine can handle a lot more than what it's doing now but of course this is still an Alpha game so I expect it to be able to handle a lot more when it gets to beta.
Class 27 is a pretty epic ship. I don't think ever built one like that before. One positive thing is at least you can build a size 27 if you're ok with lag there is no hard restrictions. I might attempt to build something like that.
Started working my bridge . I thought about adding extra stuff to it but I kind of like the clean look for this ship.
Since my my CV is a top secret project. I had to hire security. LOL He's big, he is a cyborg and he only needs one shot. lol I think is pretty cool how you can have these NPCs walking around your ship IF it's not moving. lol This things will just walk around your ship like they walk around the trade station.
Speaking of who got the biggest... dare I ask what size class is your space station currently @Siege Inc. ?
It looks like a level 74 that thing is huge.. I hope when this game gets to beta it can handle ships like that in multi player because those type of ships adds something to the overall game for me.
Been building my first ever CV for the last few days or so in creative. I've been using stock / workshop CVs all this time and figured I should try building my own! Didn't realize how much work it is, especially the texturing argh! I really wish there were more block types too I found that "Ramp Bottom C" makes for good window edges but there's no corner to them heh
Thats a thing driving me nuts. They add lots of destroyed blocks to the game (that i dont need and never will) and in the sortiment of building blocks are holes big as a barn door.
Well I remember someone saying that the devs are not done adding block types but I guess they will get to it sooner or later.
sooner was some month before... Of course there are many things that need more work and are much more urgent. It just puzzles me, why they introduce those destroyed blocks before having finished the work on the current ones. And i dont mean a myriad of new angles, curvations or else, but blocks we are waiting desperately for to fill holes in our structs.
Though I may be in the minority, I'd sure appreciate some more curved blocks as well. The predominance of angular blocks tends to channel creativity.
