I made a blueprint of a simple 3-axis cross 200 x 200 x 200 blocks, with a surrounding box. When I spawned the structure parts were missing. I made a 200 x 200 x 200 truss blocks "frame" and started covering the exterior layer with shutter windows. I reached 35 kt and my pc was having a hard time looking in the "middle" of the cube, even though just a small fraction was covered. The lighting effect was beautiful though...

    Comparison:
    Nexus Station: Size Class 114, 185 x 97 x 183, BA

    Atlantis: Size Class 43, 233 x 94 x 256, CV

Atlantis is mostly an empty shell or it's size class would be larger. It's larger in terms of length/depth but maybe not sheer density.

Yea but I think Atlantis is not as detailed as yours is going to be because I can play with Altantis and everything runs fine for me in space but if i'm on a planet then it's lag city. lol

Started yet another game today. I am still on playtesting the scenario i am fiddling around at. I want Akua as the starter and while outfittet with everything one needs to get going, it should not be more than necessary. Furthermore, it should be in easy reach; it want a scenario for advanced beginners.
This try i severely was cutting down on the size of deposits and a little at their amount. Additionally i eliminated the starting hut and half of the POIs, civil and military. The starting equipment was cut down, too (no mining cores, just one seedling of corn; plastics can be loootet for sure anywhere and Akua is full of food). Still in is the drone base (that has to persist) and the abandoned mine. Could still be too much loot; i will see. And i will have to take care of the moon.
The beginning was not bad: six deposits of each mineral on the whole planet with 1000 ore at most. Enough to easily build a decent CV, but not enough to get comfortable.

I thought that might be the case, it's so old that there can't have been many blocks around back then.

Most of the buildings are literally empty. No lights, no devices, nothing. There's very little in terms of usable space. It's masterfully done but it really needs to be scaled up to do it justice.

I packed up the rest of the supplies we'll need for our very first faction expedition. :) It's good that I did that, because it took longer than expected to move cargo and food around! I also realized I had one extra heavy armour and EVA booster and I put them in the armour locker for @rainyday and then also put extra food in his fridge when I powered down all unnecessary devices at the home base (I don't want all the food to go to waste). Now we're actually ready to get in the seats and go.

With a bit of free time to myself, and morning coffee in hand, I decided to spend an hour or more decorating our CV that's in the process of being updated from the 5.5 version. There's still so much work to do but I'm going to do it on the fly.

We had to make a few adjustments to oxygenate the ship--but the problem wasn't immediately apparent. All the ventilators needed to be turned off and back on. o_O It took a while to figure out it wasn't working because it just wasn't working. Then I oxygenated the RCS Rooms that I previously gave up on. Since RCS devices aren't airtight, I was able to put one behind an RCS in each compartment. There's silly little rooms no one goes into very often, but it's one of my favourite places on the ship.

Finished roughing in the engine rooms. Happy with 'em for the most part. Only parts left to build out are the central shaft and the casino. I have some ideas for the shaft but there's a lot of space there and not much left to add in terms of what I actually need soooooo......thinking of turning at least part of it into a Star Wars related easter egg.

Just finished my new exploration ship for Empyrion 6.0.

Planetary atmospheric entry. If you don't know that temperature can't damage blocks, picture looks quite dramatic.

Ship is build in survival mode, tanks to low energy consumption, it gonna serve me as mobile base whenever I go.

Sweet! Your design is makes excellent use of the available shapes. Kudos as well for building a compact ship with good lines.

    Thanks!
Few more things about this ship. It was built on water, above of my underwater base, which helps me avoid being destroyed by the drones or patrol ship. Round parts of armor are actual protection of oxygen and fuel tanks build inside walls of that section.

Walking around on my underwater base I had the unique view on ship from the bottom of the lake, it reminds me of some futuristic submarine parked on top of the base :D

Last night on my "home planet", before take off. First engine startup (ship was built without core for all the time because of the drones), packing my things...

Still thinking small. This is my tribute to Golden Age (c. 1930) piston-engined air racers. It's a fully functional single seater for assault/scout/looting. Available with the four Gatling gun nose at level 10 there's room enough in the nose to comfortably mount rail guns when you get them.

One of the goals in my current (Build 1100) survival game is to update and play test some of my vehicles. My updated Atalanta HV was my first choice once I'd gathered the materials. I loaded it up with ammo and fuel then took it out for a test drive. First, I stumbled across a space port and Atalanta neutralized that with minor damage. I repaired the ship on the spot then took the wide open POI on foot. Then I discovered a comm center and dispatched it the same way. I looted both bases to the ground. Although the HV has six cargo boxes it still took a couple of trips to get everything back to Base. The SV I posted above is in the factory now just because it looks so anachronistic. The current Atalanta:
