Finally finished my first big CV in Survival. Everything before this was just a tiny destroyer type. The walls inside the engine rooms are color coded to show where the engines are and all the external turrets can be reached via doors from the inside of the ship. Since your style means most shots will strike the front of your ship, and since that's currently composed solely of weapons, wouldn't it make more sense to surround those guns with some armor, perhaps? A hull block is inexpensive to replace, but rocket launchers slightly less so (and they make poor armor).

View attachment 1222 View attachment 1223 View attachment 1224 View attachment 1225 So, after getting my rear handed to me on Aestus (my core was shot out from under my ship, it was devastating!), i decided to get clever, maybe. I moved the core behind the cockpit, put the generator behind it. Then flanked that with 3 stacked landing gear (additonally, there is another landing gear on top of the core). Beneath the landing gear and forming the outer underneath skin of that part of the ship are cargo boxes. Expensive? Yes, but all of that has a better armor rating than normal hull blocks. I also used cargo boxes on the leading planes to protect directional thrusters. Next up is to test it in battle...
I love building Sv's that have a interior I name it, The Eagle MK.I It comes equped with, 6 pulse lazers, 3 plasma cannons, A whole bunch of thrust, 1 pilot +6 passengers, Back enterance a 2 block wide angled slope so you can even enter if the ship is parked on a slope, 8 fuel cells seperated by armor to avoid chain reaction explotions, Core block protected by armor, at full power it uses 26%power(more while using the guns) while having 6 generators(i put some backup ones in there), 10+ rcs so it turns almost as good like a small fighter, and the interior has everyting you need.(oxygen, fridges, storage,constructor)
