@rucky -- How come the cockpit windows look so neat ? The "frames" are not as "thick" as mine... could it be tied with the screen resolution ?
@rainyday is right, my ship is Entry-level only, so only normal Steel and normal Windows - and they're much thinner! ;-)
Heres a small spoiler preview pic of a custom CV Patrol vessel we'll be releasing onto our server soon. We've been crackin away at this one for the last week after building a 3D model of our own and then converting it to a BP. So far its functional and the exterior is complete with texture / colors. We still have to finish the interior and outfit it properly as a POI CV patrol vessel.
We are setting up slowly a sort of faction war system. 3 main capitol factions. This is the flagship that will patrol one of the main factions capitol sectors. We are working on themed pois and themed faction bases n ships.2 factions will e at war constantly with a neutral faction as neutral or mercs. Any player joining can ally with either faction they choose or all 3 if they wann play any angles like spies and such. We are giving players the freedom of choice.
its the actual HAKON, it ran out of fuel and crashed in a lake, i swear the one in the middle is a ship i made not long ago i found a bit "puffy"
Here is my blueprint for the iconic ship of HALO the Pillar of Autumn it could be better but it looks nice for me enjoy it!
Holy Gods!!! I'd love to get my hands on that to use it as an Admin Ship. If that doesn't keep the players in line, nothing will. Great job on all the vessels posted. I have one question . . . how the heck do you decide what to do in the interior? I have no problems with building the outside and kitting out the flight system but deciding what decorations, etc has always been hard for me.
decide what areas you want, use those areas to inform "room" designations, texture\decorate accordingly it helps if you have an upfront plan for what you're trying to achieve. F.e.x - Circe was designed as a science/explorer vessel, that meant we needed the science stuff, alien hydroponics and specimen storage, a decent medbay, crew quarters, and very little else
I personally advise against it cause it makes it a lot harder for Turrets to be able to work together to fire at the same thing. This is only a good idea if ya want your Turrets shooting each other in the ass.
Oh yeah, I keep forgetting that some favor the "Broadsides" form of Combat... i'm more a Frontal Assault type myself.
Here's a recent one! If you like it please give it a thumbs up on Steam. Workshop link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1083782984 And the BP is attached.
