Fusion cells give the most benefit in autominers and the other production units (water/o2/h2) since that is where you will get extra runtime out of them.

I set out to build a Drone Carrier, but got a POI instead... (how did that happen?)

This will either be a planetary HQ or some sort of atmospheric processor, I am not decided yet. But Skillons atmosphere definitely needs some processing...

Oh, thats of course only half of the building... :)

@Dinkelsen Looks great, nicely done. Great use of blocks. But what you mean by 'of course only half of the building' - now I'm interested :D

OMGGGGGGGG. That ship is EPIC!! I can't wait until we get real solar panels so you can replace those windows but WOWWW DUDE I can't wait you finish this ship. Now that is what you call CAPITAL SHIP!!! Big, beautiful and extremely powerful.
I've seen better looking ships built by players in this game than I have ships in games like NMS, Elite Dangers and Star Citizen.

I have a question, I wonder how hard it would be to build The enterprise D and do the whole saucer separation thing and make the Saucer the SV and the other ship the CV. I think that would be a lot of small blocks but I wonder would it be possible .

Started on my second CV in survival . I am raiding bases every day just to get scraps for my CV. It may not look like it but it's pretty big.
Maybe I should've made this into a blue print instead of building it in survival. Trying to grab resources for my new CV, keep my bullets in my base turrets and keep my old CV powered is taking a lot of time. If you need a challenge in survival try doing that.

I don't know why but when the sun comes up on this planet it looks soo awesome to me.

    Yar's Revenge?

You just gave me whiplash on the wayback machine. I played that game quite a bit.

Good to see you again I have always loved your ships. Not many builders are brave enough to try large scale circles

It would be a LOT of work!
Aside from that, there would be no gravity on the SV part of the ship, at least when seperated.
(IDK about when docked and the SV was that big)

To me the saucer seperation always felt always more like a gimmick than anything else. The whole idea of two ships in one dosen't make much sense, if you think about it. lol.

    Thanks!

It's not that easy to create good looking circles in a game like this, i wish i would succeed more often when i try.
    Cheers!

Badassery as usual! Damn I like how this design of yours is going along! And you even got to do a double hangar door to the rear. Perfect! So much attention to detail with the use of blocks. It truly is turning out to be a masterpiece for sure! :)

I worked a lot in creative mode this afternoon. I've been having a good time with LCDs.

    The Communications Room.

I've been able to use the new wardrobe furniture already, but I wonder if we'll be able to store items in them one day? They are shown in the devices list, so it makes me wonder.

I finished up the Administrator's Office this evening as well, and this floor of the ship is about half done now.

    I...

    Want...

    That...

    Ship!

Not the dropship *pushes it to the side,* whatever is in that last picture. Absolutely stunning! Interesting! Any chance you could ink the BP even as you have it(Definitely when it is finished?) I would love to just fly around it and get to know if better... I wonder, is it seeing anyone? Wow. Neat.

I love the simple geometric elegance of your builds Dinkelson. Awesome.

The picture of your HV "measuring device" has had me chuckling for a good five minutes. Done that m'self, but it is fun to see another interpretation. :p

Now you're going to be disappointed...

Usually my buildings symmetric on two axes. One axis can be done by mirroring, the other by mergestructing. But I only mergestruct after I did all the tedious things I do not ewant to do twice (or four times) so this image shows half the building.

    I'm mostly playing survival atm.
Besides some doings here and there :p

F.e. cleaning up my Outpost a bit

    OMEGA-Outpost.
Gun-Turret platforms and Sensor-Arrays. One Big Hangar, one small, one main Building...

The main Building is more a Ready Room, with Constructor, Food Processor, Medics, Recreation, etc... "Stand-By Duty"...

Main Elevator to the different lower levels...

Level 1, Command. Main Core, Power~, Repair~ and Weapon switches...

Level 2, Garden area 1 & 2 and Crew Quarters, here showing Garden 1:

    Garden 2 can be customized.

One half of the Crew quarters:

Level 3, Furnace and Constructor Work hall, Multiple Hangars and Storage areas...

At the end to the left you can see the Storage Area...

...with room for a Cargo-SV (which is loaded in my BASE STAR-CV normally):

The Cargo unloading area, with two of my Cargo-SVs; at the top you will see the small Hangar Doors (as you remember from the outside picture); The Shutter door leads directly to the Storage area...

Landing Pad for a medium sized Fighter, here the DroneHunter MKII...

...with a look into the Main Hangar (which Hangar Doors you also have seen on the outer pictures):

The Hangar has enough room for my Micro-CV "Warpy" and the Heavy Fighter "Mark 5":

The smaller Hangar doors to the right leads to the "ALARMSTART Hangar" (here with the MKIII ready-to-start):

With a Command bridge and AlarmStart-Switch...

Pulling that will open both, the smaller and the Main Hangar doors... for Ready to AlarmStart!

Actual this Base is somewhat between Class 8 and 9.
