Hello all I reworked the Diablo Gato and created a MKII version. I took the old HV and must have stripped it down 7 or 8 times before I got it to come close to the stats of the old ship (cause I lost a LOT of thrust that was previously buried. This HV performs very close to the old one and in some ways performs better. Should get better fuel, cost less to make and it dropped a class. As far as damage output...nothing changed. The MKII should still completely decimate POI's...and if your friend comes along with a Diablo Gatito and you work a POI together.....it will feel like cheating Enjoy! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1128378355
I love how your Tanks look like the kinda dudes ya could find in Old School Action & Shooter Games as Boss Monsters.
Yeah, like the tanks in Halo. That's what inspired me to create my first one last year, kinda a cross between a tank and the Puddle Jumper from SG-A. The HC-61 Quad Trak http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=798061126 I should do a v6.0 compliant version of this one. I'll get on it now and post when I'm done
RAIDO CORPORATION HONEYBADGER >> Steam Workshop Honeybadger APC is rugged construction of hardened steel - meant to support and carry troops during base attack missions. While not a direct combat vessel for taking out enemy installations on it's own - Honeybadger can survive for long periods of time and support advancing troops. Built upon the successful 'Wombat' frame - Honeybadger offers more protection and more weaponry. Inside devices are laid out so that they can be easily changed and adjusted to personal preference.
I have to say, iam not really good with hovers, i dont like......why hover around when u can fly but still my little aliens need to have some stuff on the ground. So here you go! The VecuA - Vawa
I've updated my HC-61 and rebranded it the FHV-75 Explorer (will upload it as soon as the workshop sorts itself) She's air tight, and ready for scouting, manual mining, and auto miner harvesting. She's got a hardened body, so it's not an early game build. Unfortunately, she has hidden thrusters so I may have to reimagine the build once they bring in those new thruster rules.
PREFAB 4 Update: Updated my HV, which, have been sitting there for ages, still not updated accordingly to look and specs :S (The hover engines, are sooo much of an eye sore o.o ) Alteration: Reworked the entire lower body framework. Added / replaced hover engines as needed. Replaced 1 ammo box, one general box, with a resource box. (right hand side, 2 acess points) some deco removed, yet still open for a myriad of gunmount options. New spec: Unlock level: 5 Size Class: 1 Block count: 240 Device count: 68 Needed resources: Iron: 700 Copper: 359 Cobalt: 334 Silicon: 194 Sathium: 72 WS Link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1134926032
BlueThunder http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1135209333 Keeping in the same vein as the rest of my "Thunder" series, this hovercraft is well-rounded. It's got two turrets that are primarily for personal defense when you are out mining and exploring. Additionally there are storage chests, a fridge, contructor, and oxygen for extended runs and multiple environments. It's designed pretty basic, and is a good starter vehicle.
Hello all! I made a set of Police themed HV's and an SV. Working on other designs for this theme. These ships are for starter players or for RP. They have not been battle tested and are definitely not for pvp. Thank you! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1135997487
POLARIS SPACE INDUSTRIES PHM-5 "RHINO II" >> Steam Workshop 'Rhino II' is bigger and meaner version of the original 'Rhino'. It has updated laser drills, closed cockpit and vast amounts of thrust at it's disposal. It comes with a price though - it's not lightweight vessel and it's not built to be cheap, it's built to be good. Great thrust capabilities and handling means Rhino II can devour deposits at ease - and practically climb up vertical walls to get out.
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1137658842 Do you need quick, strong transportation that packs a punch? Can't afford those rare, hard to find materials? Do you need something available at level 5? Does the sound of tearing through the masses with 5 Gatling guns entice you? Angular Industries announces the release of the survival transport hovercraft, the AIH-3 Aries. The Aries was designed to provide an affordable, armed transportation vehicle for low-level explorers. Angular Industries welcomes you to partake in the first in a long line of hover vehicles. Loadout: 5 Gatling guns (Accessible from top shutters) Mobile Constructor Cargo Container (Accessible through P menu) Fridge 2 o2 tanks 2 ammo containers Resource Cost: Iron- 591 Cobalt- 267 Copper- 316 Silicon- 161 Build Time: 33 minutes
Rugged Drifter. =========== !! Alpha 7.0 Experimental ONLY !! I was in need of some small armed Hover-Scout, so I took a look into my library and found the 12-Drifter by Kieve. It wasn't armed, it wasn't full of nice survival equipment, but has a really nice shape to begin with. So I ripped it apart, build it up again with more stuff in, rugged it and gave it some teeth. All with low ressource cost in mind (starting planets don't have many different ore deposits anymore). So here it is: cheap, still nimble, lot's of survival equipment (or room for) and armed with twin miniguns and minigun turret. Additional features: - 3x Cargo boxes - 1x Fridge - 1x Armor Locker - Space for O2 station (needs Cobalt, that's not available as deposite on starter planets anymore) - Space for Mobile Constructor (same reason) Now, go Hunting! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1149687064 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1149687064
Rugged Mustang ============= !! Alpha 7.0 Experimental ONLY !! Experimental 7.0 is a rough place. Are you prepared? Take old tech you find and change it into deadly Weaponry! It's rusty, rugged and bloody? Hah! It's better that way! Keep 'em comin'! Additional features: - 4x Large Cargo boxes (+ Room for more) - 2x Fridge - 1x Armor Locker - 1x O2 station (needs Cobalt) - Space for Mobile Constructor if needed Early Game tech: - Iron : 498 - Copper : 314 - Silicon : 255 - Cobalt : 7 -- that's the O2 station I left in this time... It's my first asymmetric and... R-rated vessel ;-) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1158156562 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1158156562
I have another one: The Rugged Miner ============= based on the famous Manic Miner design from R11YYN now with added Guns, Equipment, Spikes and rusted Ruggings ;-) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1160095448
I've got a couple HV's built to use the new multi-turret here: WorkerBee: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1184038231 Fairly simple open-to air design, has the multi turret, one passenger seat, two harvest boxes, constructor, cargo, fridge, and a minigun turret with ammo box. WorkerBee MK2: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1185677866 Improved version of above, with enclosed cab and passenger box-seat, harvester, oxygen tanks and fill station, constructor, 2 harvest boxes, cargo, fridge, weapon. This one can also point the front turret up or down about 40degrees by toggling the front or rear hover engines. These were built as a fast way to tear down a POI, but could probably repair stuff as well.
I've made a submarine HV, for checking out Oscutune's oceans. Travels underwater at full HV speed, submerges about 45 hv-sized blocks. Engine pod floats way above the sub part so the game thinks it's not underwater. 5 hover engine groups on control panel switches for adjusting depth. Not the most practical thing - way too tall for hangars. More of a proof of concept/idea that I've wanted to make for a while, and now that we have a deep ocean to check out I finally got around to making it. workshop: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1188420004
Here's a couple of mining HV's I made a while ago. The first is a meteor miner the second is for more general mining. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1191012764 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1191013048
