I'm watching this show right now. I wonder can the orville be built in this game? I'm not great at making circles in games like this yet so I know I can't. . It's a really cool ship and the way this ship Warps IS EPIC!!
I workshop my items just in case my PC crashes (which it did once). I was able to recover all the blueprints I had uploaded to the workshop, but nowadays I also backup my blueprints to a thumb drive.
My stuff goes obsolete eventually, so it tends to get blown up & replaced with newer Mad Empyrion Science Experiments. Now that I think about it, that might be another reason I stopped working hard to submit to my Workshop... sometimes peeps Subscribed to my stuff, but eventually it'd go obsolete, i'd build a new Experiment in its place, then blow up the old obsolete one, then peeps Subscribed to the old one get kinda screwed... is it still a thing where if something ya Subscribed to gets Deleted from the Workshop, ones ability to Unsubscribe from it & get it outta your BPs is permanently compromised?
Little Update. Finished basic Paintjob and i'm quite pleased with the proportions of the ship. (I took this screenshot from a greater distance, to avoid fisheye effect, sry for the low quality.)
It's clean because there's no texturing We're currently at the "throw stuff at the inside walls and see if any of it sticks" stage, and that's about the most planning we do, everything's iterative, nothing's sacred (apart from our design rules). Sometime we go over some areas half a dozen time before we're satisfied, and even then there are always compromises that have to be made. I have to admit, although I'm enjoying build big small vessels, i'm really missing all the decoration options we have in CV's. I mean, I can't even put a bed in Oh well, I suppose class 30 SV's are a bit of a niche market really, I shouldn't expect all the toys
I have had no issues unsubscribing from deleted items. Of course you will never get them back again..
I think it would require a master builder because of the curved lines of the ship. Of course if I wanted to drive the masters bonkers with a curved line ship...
+1. I have a sneaking suspicion that far-future ships would look a more organic. For all I know, they would actually be more organic.
That is amazing that you can build something like that without any planning. The interior looks like something you would see in a normal Space SCI FI game like Star Citizen .
Have NPCs became more aggressive ? This NPC stood on top my HV and didn't move. Almost like he was daring me to take my HV back from him. lol
I have a SERIOUS problem, guys, one that I TOTALLY RAGE QUIT! ABSOLUTELY!!!!! FINAL! ULTIMATE!! DEFINITIVELY!!! (you know some more words?) I CAN'T CONQUER ALL WORLDS !!!!!! UAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAA!!!!!!! okay seriously ;-) but do you guys try this? It's the DroneBase I showed you a few days before already (30++ drones...) I had to shot a door open to get in... Bad Mistake. Now it's 273°C in there... ... edit: the only solution I can think of is either get my "Mark5" (with Rails) or even my BaseStar-CV (with loaded Thunder Tank) from Orbit and bomb eh (as we can't sadly) shoot me through until I manage to kill the core... hm... I've already have TONS of ingots and don't really need the loot, let's BOMB eh BUUUURRRRRNNN (eh we don't have a flamethrower or molotovs either) eh SHOOT everything down!!!
Isn't it a wonderful moment when you crack open a POI and then find that you can't do a thing with it? I built this armored scooter in game as a quick fix and BP'd it so that I can work up something better: The Good: Airtight. Handling isn't affected by the extra weight. Rockets + Gatling means you have a chance. The Bad: Visibility isn't just bad, it's fiendishly bad. 3rd person in enclosed spaces is worse. The Ugly: Yes, yes it is. I finally did de-core the POI with it. I had to load one spare everything, plenty of O2 cylinders, survival rations only, and the rest was all ammo. Nothing like taking a fragile flying bomb into a well designed POI - especially when the designer was thoughtful enough to include an indoor turret. POI's have improved so much that infiltrating some of them is as fun as my very first go at the abandoned mine.
EN Gofle Translate: Hello all of you .. Today I created the Drop Ship ... As you can see, it is very similar to the shape of the X ship making ... it was the intention. Now, however, there is one SV for 13 passengers.. Hove FUN Updating: Fix minor bugs ... Photo without changes SVK: Zdravim Vás všetkých.. Dnes som stvoril Drop Ship... Ako vidíte je velmi podobná tvarom lodi X tvorim.. to bol zámer. Teraz sa však jedna O SV pre 13 pasažierov.. prijemnú zabavu
what did we do today? Celebrated! they fixed the workshop bug, we can now update BP's again!.* see you all on the workshop *Updating of BP's is done on a sporadic, as-and-when basis. basically, when we feel like it or get pressured into it
Today I had a little time in Biosphere 2. I finished the Main Light switch wall, all lights are now finally hooked up to sensors, levers, and logic gates. And I gave the plants proper names that fit a research base...
