a bit nitpicking, but Spoiler but for me the last one appeared to be different from the first, and ingame empty ones are always shown as black, always. So seeing only this pic (I have to say I wasn't ingame at this time) there was full house. So yes, we have ONE more texture. (No I don't count the other one, because I'm sure someone will cry that this was the only one he was interested in, like the one that is now missing in wood, and there's one missing it ;-)
Finished! Warp Capable SV ***Requires Alpha Experimental 7.x.x to work!!!*** Introducing, Warp Razor Igneous. Slower turning, but plenty fast enough. Should be fine for drones and related duties. It is sexy as hell at night. 4 railguns and 4 homing rocket launchers. I know the feeling, with all my micro build SV's there is no room for the warp drive in the majority of them. ... but I did manage to fit one into a SV HPOD. I'm just hoping that the new doughnut will be an upgrade to the CV warp drive (a T2 drive) and you only need one.
Let me ask this. As stated above, my rig is down for the count waiting on new MB,CPU and MEM. Am I going to have a problem when I do get it back up and running, if my ships have the old warp drive?
The ship will spawn with the new drive. Since it's smaller than the old one I (hope) there will be no issues.
I just spawned my old CV with no problems. The new drive was in the place where the donut had been. The new drive is a bit smaller than the donut so it fits with room to spare.
Thanks. I don't know, I kind of like the donut warp drive. Seems to me that a FTL drive would not be small.
So I set out to make a nice little lvl 7 warp SV... *sigh* What is it about that damn warp drive that makes you want to build gigantic ships...? Do not mind me, just ignore this, I was asking rhetorically.
That would be really cool imo. Something like that would be more than sufficient: They could add a similar effect for other types of FTL too, like the BSG jump effect: Or a Stargate like FTL effect: It would be just a short sequence, each a bit different depending on which type of FTL the ship uses. Because it's awesome! Does that even need to be explained?!?
@Neal , as long as it isn't a cutscene. Cutscenes are put in games to be watched once and then skipped forever.
I was in need of some cheap armed Hover, so I took @Kieve 's old 12-Drifter, ripped it apart, rugged it and attached a few Guns. Now Critters beware! No Cobalt or other advanced Ore needed, but Space for O2Gen and Constructor left. Spoiler: more pics and stats
I don't like to edit my bps in experimental, but i should be able to attach a warp drive to my shuttle. I'm getting a very star trek shuttle vibe off it though, i'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. But yeah, if they made the donut a t2 drive i'd be a happy camper. Otherwise i'm looking at a fairly extensive rebuild of the rear of my corvette. Still, it'll give me something to do and i won't complain about that. Will be interesting to see how it turns out.
Today in Empyrion I am going absolutely bananas with Warp SV's. Here is Fearless. Shield your eyes Rucky. Steamlink: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1149380330
