Been (re) building my pet project the Distant Horizon in Alpha 7.0 and made it also a little bit smaller than the prototype. I tried to make it as smooth and clean looking as possible, while also having the individual sections being reckognizeable.
Thank you! The rotation rates and acceleration are a bit better than my usual. What started as building the smallest usable SV morphed into seeing whether agility would make up for practically no armor. I was surprised that it performs at all with my standard 4 rocket launchers and two Gatlings.
LOL THAT WAS SUCH A GOOD MOVIE!!! I guess the bridge does give you that kind of Alien creepy vibe. All I need is NPC that looks like that Alien to spawn my ship now. lol This movie used to freak me out as a kid but still it's a classic
Started designing the biggest Command Carrier the game would allow! Began by drawing a cross away from the core till the game told me "too far from centre", deleted one block and started dawing the shape from there. I've finished the skeleton now and it's huge!
The new textures overwhelmed my minimalist ways. This is the largest base I've ever built and it's a...a...Class 1! lol I built it in creative for a change and that was fun. The build convinced me to put more attention on building nicer looking (small) bases.

Some interesting skies, set the warpable sectors close together, this makes them appear as little moons in the sky, combined with added planets in the current sector, Gives the appearance of large nearby planets with small earth like moons ^-^

OMG, yay! I agree with you that the textures in Experimental will do so much incredible sci-fi potential to your mothership! Will you publish an experimental version or wait until 7.0 goes public?

This is awesome.. I would love to see temples like these in the game on certain planets. Maybe a temple for an Alien God
I think other players have done this before. We need more Empyrion streamers anyway so more people can see this game..
Right ! But sadly i can't say when iam pleased with the outcome.......there are not sooo many new textures like the most have hoped for but the combination with other and the colors given still produce an incredible amount of possibilitys, which have to be tested out And iam not sure if the new emmission texture is too strong...at least for the way i used it.
