Man it was fun. All I did was downloaded SoulChateau Borg shell model from the workshopand texture it added some alien turrets . It turned out a lot better than I thought I would .lol
Man this makes me want wheels added to this game. lol I know we don't need it but look how cool your design look with wheels in the desert.
I think maybe some of you guys have seen this already but I will add it anyway. A video on replacing the AI Controlled Freighters with your own blueprints or custom blue prints you download from the workshop. A youtuber by name of Spanj made it last week. I bet you can make some really good theme Servers using this or a cool single player custom game..
I found out that Hangar Doors are a lot more expensive than sentry guns... and given that I hate Garages since the Hangar Doors don't open properly... I thought I'd just have an open garage with a sentry gun. The problem is When I multitool deconstruct the hangar door.... I'm missing A LOT of it. WHy is it so damn lossy? Is that a bug or intended???
It depends, are you in the experiemental 7.x.x? If you are, the T1 multitool only returns 30% and T2 returns 60%.
Finally tried a warp-capable SV. I'm a pretty poor builder to start with and the space required for the warp gear has re-noobed me completely.
LOL Youtube has a setting on each video that allows you add English subtitles for closed caption ..... I use it on certain videos myself if I'm not use to the person's accent and it does help. I have an American Southern accent, so if you can't understand this guy then you would really need a English translator to understand me. lol
So, 7.2 killed my save. Starting over in 7.2 experimental. Terrain is really hard to get around on with the motorcycle., but looks amazing.
I feel ya man! I’ve spent sooooooo much time trying to figure my warp sv out. Pretty much ended up adding a few thrusters and a big ugly box to it.
Thank you for that. Although I wanted to try out the warp drive I'm having second thoughts. Just surrounding the tank and drive with one layer of blocks yields a package that's bigger than many of the SV's I've built. If I can't come up with something acceptable soon I'll just fall back on a CV plus SV combo. I intentionally nuked my BP folder when I reinstalled EGS for 7.2 so I have nowhere to go but up.
Great attitude. I find myself considering reverting back every time I try to place one of something and every other type if block I have of that goes “poof!” Built 4 generators, placed the first and the rest were just, gone. But, so far I like things more than the few bugs I’ve stumbled upon. Off to rebuild my HV. Again...
