20 minutes.... the pieces aren't even all placed right...see this one sticking out on the front. Painful. Does anyone have a "pattern guide" for windows? It's hell. I just want a nice nose, thats it.
With the window that's sticking out you have to rotate it in such a way that it's the other way round, if you get what I mean? It's odd as you have to get it rotated to the other side of the glass for it to line up properly. To be fair, you've done a better job in 20 minutes that what I can do in hours with windows. I ultimately get cheesed off enough that I give up and use a normal cockpit!
Hi, I select Change/Rotate. THen what do I press? It seems there's no options and I can't do anything
Been busy for a while but finally had some time to finish my builds! First to see the light of day is the Twinfin Battlecruiser, an offshoot of one of my PVP builds converted for PVE and RP purposes: On four decks (plus a small connector decks) there is ample space to work, play and store your things. All sections except engineering, magazines and fuel bunkers can be seen in this cross section: The hangar has two decks each with their own access ramp but they are connected so you can access the repair bay from both decks. The smaller bottom door is less sloped and doesn't need a ramp to be extended and can be used for small mining and recon vessels while the upper door can take even fairly large HV tanks and most SVs. As with my ealier Kestrel Cruiser the Workshop is connected to the hangar via a hangar door allowing you to park miners or cargo vessels directly in the workshop: The Operations Center above the Workshop allows quick access to all relevant areas, the stern elevator lets you get down to the ground if needed, elevators on the sides allow access to the Workshop and hangar decks while there is also a central access way to the connector deck which leads to the con tower. Hello all awesome CV Makers! (Not sure where to do this lol) Im really terrible at making cvs, all mine are just simple crap with nothing special, which is fine i guess. Im trying to find someone who can make me a nice CV, id say medium size (no longer then 40) with decent firepower for single player survival. Im just looking for a cool ship with good offense, and has everything i need to explore and fight.
Maybe the Asturia Prime? It's 54 long but still compact and affordable if you remove the weapons. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=951424648 Needs a 7.0 update, but it's mostly cosmetic. Just place a repair station wherever you want it to be. There's enough space to be creative.
I build this ship ... just to build something to test new tools These new building tools and textures are wonderful. CV-Alastor Builded almost completely from Hardened and Combat steel blocks.
Thats a nice ship Ashrai, illl definitely consider it, im currently just looking at all the CVs in the work shop and picking out ones i might like and trying them.
My first attempt on heavy modification. Inspired by Silent Kitty's Sk Survivor. My version is a total refit and redesign though. Hangar bay is as long as ship is. The bridge is now separate and semi autonomous located in the back of the ship. Oxygen and fuel autonomy increased enormously to more than 500 hours when being landed with navigation systems are offline. Also 6 guns where added plus two homing rocket launchers. So now I present you the Poseidon's Trident. It comes in two editions, one with combat steel and one with regular steel plates. Links : Poseidon's Trident Poseidon's Trident LT
Hello all. Earthshine has been updated to 7.0 and re-uploaded to the workshop. All the thrusters are now exposed, and I removed some of the stuff to get the ship down a class, but its just not one of those builds that can be reworked from class 9 to class 5. Thank you and enjoy! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1186719721
This is a cargo freighter I finished recently its probably not much use for most people being steel and unarmed but it might be useful a an alien freightor or something like that. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1191518356
This is the Phoenix its a small fairly cheap warp capable CV I tend to use for mining runs early game. It has decent acceleration in all direction and if the armour is upgraded can take a beating. I've kept it as low tech and low resource as I can so I can spawn it as soon as I hit level 15 and get my hands on enough sath and neo. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1191655748
So, I rebuilt my Swallow as a full on Alpha 7 ship. THE MEGASWALLOW. Ok, so it's not a huge ship, but it's an economical little way to get down from orbit, move miners and whatnot around and generally potter around the map. Noted for it's huge cargo bay : ship radio, it's an aesthetic an effective way to move through the mid / late game. Haast-MegaSwallow
Here's a small CV I've built, kindof a mini-carrier for a SV and a HV. Was built as a cheap way to go on mining runs for E/Z or other resources. Doesn't have much in the way of creature comforts, just a fridge, med bay, o2 fill station, ventilator. Gave it a big generator and two tanks so it could run a drill or multi turret (which made it really fuel efficient - 33hrs atmosphere hover). Couldn't come up with a decent name so just called it Mini Warp Sled. workshop: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1189545192&searchtext= (more pics in spoiler) Spoiler
