I was wondering why we are not able to mine non resource asteroids? Considering Ground Stone is technically a resource (For concrete and armored concrete),.

Wouldn't it make sense to have them be mined for ground stone and we can use any asteroid in orbit rather than those we can find (Which in a scattered asteroid field, can be hair pulling.

Also there may be those (Not me possibly maybe) who may wish to create an asteroid base by hollowing into one, and only being able to use resource ones severely limits options.

Just an idea I had as I sat at a resource asteroid mining out for ground stone, rather than that fat juicy asteroid sitting 100m away that says I can't dig here.

A hollowed out asteroid base would be cool. I think that making all asteroids minable would be a huge resource drain. Adding a few that are minable and/or already hollowed out seems feasible. They could be marked by a supply cache or something so that you don't have to spend hours looking.
