Today I built a workhorse HV armed with multi-tool turrets. Haven't even tested those yet but they seem really cool so I wanted a vessel so I can test them out. PSI Locust, maintenance and repair vessel. Will mostly be used for scrapping, Im sure Sliding over the silent waters of Oscutune. Interior. Three multi-tool turrets on the front - one minigun turret for self defense. Admiring the sunset.
After posting the pics of my BA CV combo yesterday I realised how badly mis-matched the docking areas were so I spent a little time yesterday sorting that out. I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel with this little project. Its taken a lot longer than the couple of days quick build I initially thought it would be but if I'm honest I don't think this'll be the last project that spirals out of all control! XD
yes, indeed HV and CV got Multi-Turrets (like Hand-Multitools) for Repairing and Disassembling and that stuff (still a fixed variant for SVs is missing...)
My mission to get more streamers into EGS is going well. I have tempted approx 8, with 1 adding to wish list directly, and 2 others I know will play eventually as they are serious builders. I look forward to when SHOMOFO joins us. He impressed my with his building skills when he only had access to like 20 block shapes and basic colors. And small scale. If we let him loose in EGS he is almost guarranteed to explode peoples heads.
What's the Status? There is a need to buy anything to publish Workshop items?! Strange behavior Steam is. Sadly necessary more and more if you don't want to pirate ...
yep. HV AND CV. no sv... but that is HIGHLY questionable as CV TURRETS USAGE whatever kind ARE NOT ALLOWED on planets...
Noo I don't want SV drill/turret stuff. Thats for HV & CV, I'm cool with that Can't wait to get scrapping those freighters!
You haven't imagined to repair your damaged CV in Space as a Nomad do you?! Or tried to dissassemble a HUGE TALL POI on a Planet where you can't reach the top with your HV and CV can't be used either?! Still Cool?!
Just because of that it's very cool. You have tools at your disposal - but they can't solve everything and they can't be used everywhere. If SV's had multi tool turrets and mining stuff - then SV's would basically be one ship solution to everything. Thats boring
Sir .. You know that I do not have the money to get myself to buy something on Steam... and without Steame, I have blocked several things ... But we can solve this if you agree: Ask me for Steam about a friendship to wish you ... but to invite, not the option is unavailable to me ... When you accept this option and you will be steamed by my friend, you will also see my Workshop
It wasn't long ago that we had to dismantle every POI block-by-block or do an EVA to make repairs in space. Enabling the multitool for HV-only in atmosphere provides another reason to build them and to tinker with new designs. I'd appreciate even more unique gear or abilities for the HV for that reason.
