I finally got round to trying the new and "improved" abandoned mine. @Fractalite, I hope your next build falls apart at random times, you git! Honestly though, excellent work man. Kept me on my toes and made me glad that I packed some extra pills!

Ooh, dinner! Wrong thread - server advertisements are -> that way. --- Thought I would give an update on Synthesis, since it's been a while. The original plan called for two or more BPs that could dock and intersect seamlessly with each other. The trouble with this approach is twofold - alignment and collision issues can result in the docking vessel (SV in most cases) getting stuck or even skewing and clipping through the parent BP, and the fact that it somewhat limits the design options. I'm now thinking I may be better off approaching this as a Scenario upload and have a number of "showcase" builds instead. The goal behind the project was and has always been a sort of petition letter to the devs, to show what's possible by combining block sizes, so perhaps a showcase-style setup is the better option here.
I made Star Wars inspired 'warp ring CV' for my SV. So it's basically just barebones CV with warp drive. After warp, I can leave it in the orbit, do my thing and then dock back again to warp out. SV docks nicely on the front.
This is my work in progress Portal to the Underworld. The front is probably done, yet I have to figure out the inside and the sides. GPU friendly already as usual.
*Feeds this to my Sapphire NITRO Radeon R9 390 Graphics Card... it regards it as a 'light snack' & still hungers for more...*
I got distracted again. Corellian freighter. YT-1930 variant. The interior is going very well. I think I may end up liking this more than the Falcon. I've been experimenting with the hull design a bit. What do y'all think?
Like them a lot! What are the dimensions? I ask because flowing lines like that usually means big hulls.
Thanks! I'm having trouble deciding which one to build. I like them all but I'm leaning towards using the first one(on the left).
