I attempted to re-create the Y-8 from SWG. There are other versions out there,a nd mine is not the best, but I tried to make it as close to original as possible. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1217168974

I give you the k1 light ship, its a 1000 ton stater ship that only costs 1234 iron. Has most of the stuff you would want on a starting CV. However it is light like paper and lightly armed. Hope you enjoy. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1227080884&searchtext=k1

The Benevolent Bastion! Sports 2~4 armor thickness and 22 turret ports. A bow SV hangar and stern HV hangar will hold two micro or one medium sized craft each. Fully automatic doors and lighting ensures you'll never have to use your flashlight. Bright, pastel colors will keep the edgelords away. Comfortably accommodates seven with clean, efficient, and modern interiors. A great mutli-purpose adventuring CV for you and six of your friends!
This thing is patently ridiculous but was fun to build. More a "Universe Ship" than a mere CV. Tried to make all systems interactive for those that like to physically use devices. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=965978013
I created this ship for the 2-gen challenge, but upon reviewing my submission in the cold light of day, i noticed a tiny thing i could fix. Several hours of building later, i had this. I decided to rip out the 2 small generators and replace them back to a t1 large, and put the original medium thrusters back in for performance reasons. The entire cabin is oxygenated, and you can't accidentally roast yourself unless you put a bit of effort in. It has 2 hardpoints which i've fitted with basic cannons, but one can be replaced with a mining turret if desired (it comes equipped with a harvest box as standard). All the basic equipment is present (fridge, food processor, med chamber, o2 station, 6 grow plots, ammo box, large cargo box, harvest box, warp engines, gravity generator, advanced constructor), but no toilet/shower or advanced medical scanners. There's a docking pad for a small sv/hv on the left side, but it is exposed to the elements so i would keep your sv/hv powered up when docked in harsh environments so you can run between the cv and the sv/hv's cockpit without getting roasted/frozen. Hope it's of interest/use to someone. edit: i forgot, i ended up naming it: the mule edit2: 5 minutes later and i've just made a slight change to the blueprint. At this point i think it's time to drag myself away from the keyboard. edit3: urgh, i can't keep myself from working on it. I've extended the ship by 2 blocks, giving me room to add all the toilet/shower/scanners. Which means there's now room on top for another turret. There's room in the back for a repair station, but as it requires zasc/eres, i've left it out (this is technically a starter ship). I added wings - i'm not sure why. But it's starting to give me a 'thunderhawk gunship' from wh40k vibe, which is good. I just need to step away from the computer - i blame fluffy for this.
A little pretty CV that is also available as SV in various variants. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1197881895
Built a new ship just for fun. A small capital. Everything I learned from my previous ship condened into this little cv. Check out the Capella here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1272300688
Well here we go, she's not quite ready for the workshop yet (but getting there). This is my largest ship yet. The T15 long range exploration vessel Vicarius. I designed her to be as realistic a ship as I could make it out to be. Combat steel all over, no real layering efforts though. Everything is acessible. All engines can be seen and reached from within the ship including all 6 engine pods The ones in the fore docking bay are protected by glass but I would consider the panes removable for servicing. Lots of living spaces and recreational areas . Living quarters for 64 enlisted crewmen and officers, 32 marines. Captain and XO quarters near the bridge. Dedicated production area and forward docking bay for supplies. Open access docking back on the side, 2 fighter bays Etc...etc... I have to give a huge shout-out to Fluffy who I enlisted to help me troubleshoot her and offer his advice. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. Cheers!
@Kahrek Really nice! I've been working on something similar for a while now too - a long range exploration vessel - so it's real interesting to see someone elses take on a similar subject But you're way ahead of me in how complete the ship is. Vicarius is looking awesome and I have to take a closer look! Love the Spaceballs reference btw
Transport NHX 05 Alpha 7.5.9 Hey Guys, this is the standard Transport Ship from the Freelancer Universe. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1272596969 It simply consists of hardened Steel. - Cantina - mess Hall - 2 Docking Ports for Container - Crew Quarters - Food production and stocking - first-aid Station - locker room - Engine room - stokrooms (normal, O² and fuel) -Airlooks (ahead und behind) to enter and leave the Ship Best regards B00n
I've updated several of my existing ships, the Angeles Crest Mk.II mobile base and the normal and starter versions of my Lake Hollywood small CV. The main change is that all three are now fully "sensored" and "switched" - lights, ramps, turrets, etc. are all automatically or manually controlled. This should improve performance noticeably. Smaller changes include a modified bridge with windows over the hangar on the Lake Hollywood ships: And redesigned and expanded captains quarters on the Angeles Crest: The Angeles Crest also has a system where thrusters are controlled by two separate switches (one simply labeled "Thrusters," the other switches between two LCDs that say "Cruise" and "Boost") so that you can disable around half of the thrusters when you don't need them. This cuts fuel usage by around half when flying in atmosphere. Anyway, feel free to check them out: Angeles Crest Mk. I came across the Angeles Crest yesterday in the workshop, and thought it looked really nice. Will be downloading the latest version shortly!
