Sooo, finaly I uploaded the precessors and successor of my SEA Warp Explorer. Beeing the SEA Scout MK1 (lvl 7, small thrusters) and its MK2 (lvl10, medium thrusters) and SEA Warp Explorer MK2 (lvl 12, armored). Along that, the SEA Landing Pad (7x7 blocks) which only serves as spawning platform for 'small to regular' small vessels and hovers. This said, you see there's quite a bunch in SEA-brand line, and more to follow... So I decided to make it a collection, specialy as I want to use these within my scenario (Vertigo Cluster). Once i get the error messages away and the planetary fine tuning is done that is.. Collection: Space Engineer Association Still in pipe, probably in this order (no promises made though!): * Landing Field (will be something between/around 16 to 32 blocks/side for the platform) * Starter CV * CV * Airport (64++blocks/side - at least length) * Civ POI * Mil POI
Well that didn't last long. I've crashed twice, once when landing in a hole and this time while in space digging an asteroid. And my SV that got me into orbit has vanished. I guess I can't actually play the game

I spent several hours doing nothing but spawning Workshop creations in creative mode and toying around... I forgot there’s an actual game to play.
Maybe a SV with max guns of every type. I'm debating on how many more weapons I can fit between the wings on this one. (it already has max weapons with 3 types)
Ok, that's a little bit excessive, but I'm debating on updating the existing blueprint in the workshop with this. It also has 6 ammo boxes, one for each type of weapon. Maybe I should also double the hull blocks on the front of the ship...
On the SV guns; are Railguns worth it? Their ammo cost seems quite high for what I was able to accomplish with them. Likely just my flying skills though since I had much better luck using 4x homing missiles for poi turrets. And 2-4x gats seem to do the trick fine on early drones and zirax... On possible SV Challenge, how or should it be limited? If limited then how? SVs don't suffer the power constraints of CVs (which worked really well as an overall design limit). Warp on not. Materials? Total gun count? Other bits like minimum accel or turn might be too subjective. Will be interesting to see what you guys come up with.
Ok, ok, I get the point. So, for what I did in Empyrion today, I double armored the front, added the (default) max of every SV weapon in the game, added 4 M thrusters to compensate for the new weight, and a 5th SV generator so it does not redline. If you want a SV warp shuttle / gunship, I re-introduce the Cownose Ray. Honestly, I skip over them and go for the pulse lasers.
Not if they started as separate cores, unless something's changed recently that I missed. If you're building a single base that just has a modular look, you don't need the physical connection- just N menu "Connect to:" I'm wishing there was a "cable" you could used to wire separate mini bases into a whole- at least to share power- think stringing wire in Fallout 4... but better
