In my case it teleported back above ground twice. I think I'll actually take another method and re-purpose OreMaw. That was remarkable stable considering it's size.
Today, I reposted my trike on Steam. When blueprints just spawned as "HV", "SV", or "CV" it was frustrating that I had to actually rename the blueprints to easily distinguish them on the map when I had several of one class of blueprint in play. Not that it was hard, but because I had given the blueprints names when I saved them in creative. Now that they spawn with their names, I have been getting reminders of the names I originally gave blueprints before I had a plan. I can change the name on the Steam Workshop but that doesn't change the name that they spawn with in my game. I can change the name of the file on my computer and that does change the name it is spawned with, but then the link to the blueprint previously shared on Steam breaks. Now if someone knows how to change the name in both places without breaking it, then I am all ears. Until then, I only have a few more blueprints left to switch over to comply. I am sticking with my plan (now that I have one) as I don't want to go through this again. Here's the link to the trike. Built for early game. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1265265023
Would either of these work? SV-AABMV https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=741460890 SV-Leopoldi-T1 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=740273177 There is a undo function? I guess I missed it.
Double click on the Blueprint name in your library(F2), this will bring up a new message window. There you can change or add a Group name (used for POI spawn groups in yaml) and the Name of the object after spawning in. After that re-upload the blueprint to the workshop. volá.
Thank you. I will try that. I have been fishing for some tidbit of advice like that but not finding it until now. Again, thank you.
No. Clue. There is likely a reason. I, personally, would like to see a complete rework of the control panel some time. That being said I Am In No Hurry. *sings* Spider Pig Spider Pig, does whatever a spider-pig does..
Reason #35,420 why we either need to be able to use small blocks in all builds or get some really cool corridor blocks... you can't make a hallway like this in a CV...
I have problems with adult language usage amount too. Big purpose of Adult Language is verbally venting stress like a Pressure Release, & the stress from my Head Problems makes me act like a CPU that tries like hell to stay cool as much as I can but no matter what just can't not 'run hot' at best... let alone not at best... I especially badly can have problems with the "F Word"... Another known Bug, that also occasionally affects me. I think this one gets caused when movements ya do with the Mining HV accidentally clip a bit of the HV into Geometry... especially commonly the 'nose' of the Drill, especially Laser Drill or Turret Drill Muzzle... then the game sees this happening & freaks out & mistakes it for an act of the whole HV having fallen through the Geometry & initiates Emergency Player-Fell-Out-Of-Playfield Position Recovery. I forget, if they ever did explain it at all. I theorize that they needed to get more Infos into the Tabs & needed to make room by pudging over 'Duplicate/Redundant Info' from where they could find spaces to so space could get freed up. Oooooohhh Flank Parking Enabled! Don't see that everyday. Me likey! With that said, best way to fix your problem I think is to go into Creative, Spawn this BP, change its Name in the Control Panel, then have Crosshairs on it & Alt + O then highlight the BP this was Spawned from & click the "Overwrite" Button. This will act like saving this BP's New Revision onto that BP. See if this works... despite what ya've tried before possibly having made things messy. It's in the N Menu. Can still be buggy at times though so use with caution. Or one can try to take advantage of it for funsies... *Cough* Uhh, I mean 'Testing Purposes'... An interesting idea... I personally have never tried this before...
That's easy to explain when you consider where I park on occasion. I think I have had 6+ HV docked for transport plus a few SV on top. Wish I had some time to play tonight but it has been a long day of work, and I only have a moment before I need to get rest for another long day tomorrow.
@Slipstream When i tried to build 'this design'.. my camera was like 50m above the top stone, not playable.... Did you had any better luck?
No issues. Remember, you can hit the "Alt" key, and scroll in and out. To move the camera up/down, use the PgUp and PgDn keys.
Hold on a second... i can move my cam up and down when outside a ship???! Geee... hope i didnt delete that thing... Thx going to try
Working on my Advanced BaseStar... You know me, I'm building only for small compact but highly functional and feature rich vessels... For me... this thing is HUGE, but I was told it's just a bit over small size in comparison... (98 x 138 x 40m) My main Focus this time is on PVE COOP Small group Survival, therefore Workspace and Hangar space had priority. Still I wanted a highly immersive environment with believable internal structures, f.e. Crew members, enough living quarters (not just beds added together), sick bays, engineering room, restaurant area and whatever should be included in an Exploration Survival Main Base Ship. Spoiler: More pictures and some Features, still in WiP! It's not the sexiest thing in the World. As I wrote... it's meant for Function & Features Let's check the Functions and Features... 1) Hangar space: For these Pictures I added a total of 28 medium++ sized Vessels. This is MANY! 2x Merkava Mk 40 2x Diablo Gatito 2x Thunder Tank 3x Tiger IV MK2 2x Dark Knight 3x PSI PHM-5 Rhino II 2x Rapscallion Warp Core 4x DroneHunter "Mark 5" Revolution Overture One KSV Aetheria LXS another "Mark 5" Lagrange 3x Peregrine Falcon MK2 another "Mark 5" 2) Workspace: On each Side 8x Advanced Constructors (Total = 16!!) and many many Large Cargo boxes in direct access from the Hangar... 3) Garden and Cafeteria: Smaller as wanted but still enough: 30 Growing Plots, 2 Food Processors and a good amount of restaurant equipment on 3 levels. 4) Sick bay: Two full-equipped Sickbays. 5) Crew: 72 NPCs (63 Gold). No Ship of Size > 1 should be flown alone. 12x Crew quarters / appartments for up to 6 persons. Yes, the Captain gets an own appartment... 6) Bridge: This Bridge is bigger than my whole Challenger-CV!! Additional armored Battle Bridge. Together there are Seats for 14 Players. 7) Engineering: Has two Hot-Pilot Seats... It just hits the Class-12 Margin. Needs to go down to 10... There is still a bit texture work todo and then an alternate version with downgrading to Class 10 for use on Servers... WiP version link if someone is interested to try and give me some feedback... http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1261522156 Thank you!
