I keep a Notepad open to hold the copy-pasted symbols that work, and occasionally "sketch out" LCD layouts, or refine existing ones. Empyrion's background blur in the UI drives me bonkers because it used to be I could fiddle with font size and see the screen update, but that's become impossible now and you have to close out the LCD UI to really see any changes. ...It's a long, complicated, tedious pain in the ass. I've been giving a fair amount of thought lately to putting up a "Deco LCD" SV that's just an art gallery of unicode "consoles" and techy bits for builders to use. Hell, if nothing else it'll give folks something new to play with so they don't have to keep reusing the Aetheria's screens over and over. EDIT: @Frigidman , didn't you have a website that listed a fair chunk of the valid ones?
Sorry i have to ask: do you plan to or already have uploaded a Bluprint with all the LCDs you have made? Like just TV-stands with LCDs containing your LCD-Designs? If so i would love to use them, they are brilliant pieces of art for the LCDs. I can't smash the like button as many times as i want :-D

I don't have one made, but I'll probably put one together once the NXT is finished. My creative drive has been at a low ebb the last several weeks, but it's starting to rev up again and giving me all kinds of ideas. Only started considering an LCD resource a few days ago. That's the one.

I decided to sit back, forget about config files, balancing, NPCs, GUI and all the stuff we've been discussing and complaining, and took in the scenery. This game has marvelous sunsets, especially overlooking a vast lake or ocean. The sound of water lapping on the shore and the sounds of nature (but not the plant monsters) in the background. Space id beautiful, too. Like a tourist, I have taken numerous screenshots from outside Aeolus, my primary CV. although, from space, the planets don't look pictures from Voyager, Cassini or other space probes ( a result of their smaller size, no doubt), they are just as amazing to behold. Perhaps in time, they will achieve that look. My thanks to the designers responsible for the delightful and gorgeous stage on which we play.
