I wish ya well on your Hiatus... which may well be a good idea. When ya return, maybe the MP Server I play, the WASD Games Server, will be up & ya could play there instead. I'm an Admin on that Server when RL isn't in the way & it's run by Boss Funinator.

Thanks for the comment my friend! I was actually hoping that someone would have an ingenious idea for that. For the last couple of days, i'm trying lots of different ideas, but most of them looked rather silly (like an array of windows for ex., but it made the ship look like a giant shuttle which is kind of meh, imo.) What i'm looking for is some kind of structure or transition that makes the ship look somehow sleek and elegant, but also sturdy (i try to avoid making it look too agressive or too "face" -like.) Any ideas?
I'm sorry to hear that. On a personal note, that's one of the reasons, why i only play single player (any game). Playing some computer game with other ppl. is just stressful and ultimately results not in playing the game but dealing with those ppl., no matter how nice they are or how long i know them. It definitle ruins any game and possibly even friendships. (just my experience) Maybe try to just build (in creative modes, very quiet ) something in Empyrion? It would be a shame if you would let that bad experience ruin the game for you. Wish you all the best.
they will not ruin the game for me, love this game to much to give it up, my friend bought me the Ready Player One book ive been wanting out of no where, havent read a book in 7 years fyi, so bee a good change, ill just keep doing creative and my projects i said i was going to finish and go read the book, when 8.0 hits ill be trying out my friends server and if the making planets/systems is easy enough for me ill be in SP for a while, make a video serise

I thought about filling in the gap between the main hull and the floating ring, maybe using inverted half blocks so the hull still has a "groove" running around it. You have enough room there you could even alternate half and full to make a couple of concentric grooves for detail. Then taper down from the arch, maybe with some 2x1 slanted windows. I'd make a matching taper underneath, but just kind of wrapped around the thrusters. That was my thought anyway, although taking a closer look at the screens- that would probably require a bigger reworking of the underside of the "saucer" area than I initially considered
A hiatus can be a very good thing. I've been away from gaming in general for a while and it restored my interest.

Too corny & unbelievable. *Scratches out "Wild Animals" & scribbles in "Spiders" then scrutinizes Cover Story again* Hmm... yep, looks totally legit. *Stamps this Seal of Approval onto the Story*: No sweat. Game can use a bit more fleshed out before heavy duty PvP starts becoming a thing. Well, that & Death Cubes* getting rendered extinct. *Barring Borg Cube wanna-be Creations.

I dare to hope that I now have the rest of the External Body Work done on my CV Build! Now to finish the Internal Build Work then test drive the dude for faults, & for functionality or lack of of certain Mad Empyrion Science Experiments contained within the Build... then if all looks good, Paint, Texture, & Groupings Assignment. Also, brace yourself, this CV is NOT gonna win any Beauty Contests... especially with the looks of its Nacelles... which are NOT up to Neal level of Quality in Aesthetics... but who knows? Might take a couple Quantum Torpedoes, unlike the idiotic Nacelles on the Enterprise-D.
Then...i have completed my modular/integrated set of CV/SV just need to still do the HV then i will share
The Our Grid server is a very nice place. Full PVE but they do insist that everyone is in the same faction. Nothing to stop you from setting your stuff to Private though. His server thread is https://empyriononline.com/threads/our-grid-has-room-for-a-few-nice-folks-pve-coop.8354/ Just a note though, it's based on the US West Coast, so you'll be 8 hours ahead of them, and the ping can get up to 250ms at times.
Today it decided to stop working on my huge builds lie the Atlas MK2 and the Carryall Concept. They take way to much time and i am running out of said time. Actually i got a few more people to be interested in Emyprion and we will probably start with a small group of people to play MP on a server (didn't decide if on someones server or setting up our own). So i will focus on the smaller, more practical and survival compatible builds. Still need: - starter base, suited for a group in function and supply - small and medium SV for all kind of expedition stuff (maybe multipurpose for fighting) - a CV for group exploration Additional i plan on a project like having a spaceport "Mos Eisly"-Style to attract as many scum pilots as possible ;-) and some secret military secret projects :-D
